I'm glad he hasn't stated them to be honest. It makes me throw up a little when new EPs come out and say
"i'm going to bring this show back to the glory days. Eastenders to me is a dash of sugar, a dash of spice, and a dash of all things nice. I don't want the characters to play hamlet one week and an extra the next. I believe that this show is in the architecture of our beautiful island. For me, the star of the show is Patrick Truman. I can't wait to explore his family history more. You can expect thrills, spills and more pregnancies as I am looking to build a bright future for subsequent generations. I am filled with joy at the possibilities at hand for Arthur Fowler Jr and whatever Lauren's kid is called. I have a ten year story arc already in place. What can you expect from my tenure on Eastenders? Well that's simple. Phil will probably have another life-threatening accident, only women under the age of 18 will be childless, another murderer will be welcomed into the Vic whilst Billy, fresh from stealing a steak and ale pie from the Minute Mart will be shunned by the square. Kat and Alfie, the bread and butter of the show will be starring in their very own cinematic experience. We are referring to it as an experience as it is in its very early days, and really it's so much more than a film. I've also got a list of issues sent through to me from the powers that be that i'll have to gradually work through and tick off. Look out for Dot's Piles storyline, we worked very closely with the National Piles Association. Overall, the mistakes made in the past under other producers will never be replicated. With me at the helm, Eastenders shall once again enjoy a golden era of 30m viewers per night, even on wednesdays, which I am introducing to the cake mixture. What a beautiful time to be alive. Stay tuned on Tuesday when someone gets a nasty surprise on the fruit and veg stall, and look out for an emotional time coming up for my new character Tony Johnson and the rest of his new family, the Johnsons."
