Did that actor sign up just to play second fiddle to Femdom Kim?

Has he had a proper storyline about from that unfinished feud with Philth?

It's rather strange how downturn this character has become, he come in as this mysterious bad boyish character with a grudge against The Mitchells, its been month since the sorry conclusion of that plot and his done nothing worthy since and is liken to a background character most of the time, except the nonsense of being his foster sister baby daddy.

Vincent and Claudettes characters have been all over the shop. Vincent was a dangerous gangster who had this big thing going on with Ronnie, now he never speaks to her.

Claudette was a baddie a few months ago who had Fatboy crushed and killed her own husband and made vincent believe it was al the Mitchells, there was even a big show down where Patrick almost killed her, Now its like it all never happened and Patrick is now in love with her.

Its so wierd

didn't like him for the first couple of episodes - but grown on him - a lot - and wish he would get a decent story line

yes, very weird - forgotten all about Patrick attempting to kill her

like one story writer doesn't know what the others have written in the past.

You think everyone will be. Vincent is clearly part of the Plit with Denise and Kim. He wont leave. I would let him have an affair with Whitney.

Used well Vincent could be an asset to the show. He made a great start but was then forgotten about.

agreed, there is so many possibilities with him. I thought they would of done more with his adoptive brother or they could also delve into his past a bit more....even see how he copes if they give Kim a break later down the line.

Like everything Dom touched the character turned into a boring damp squib.

Vincent was introduced as a mysterious and dangerous character, then he had a 2 week feud with the Mitchells, Phil turned him into a little bitch, and that was that.

couldn't agree more - now he's reduced to changing nappies - so hope Janine returns and saves him, so we can get rid of Kim at the same time.

At least they haven't ruined him by having him do something unforgivable (yet)

The story of every interesting male character that has entered the square in the 21st century - even people like Steve, Dennis, Johnny, Sean and Jase.

TBTB are one day going to have to confront the fact that a short, ageing and very sick man should not be able to beat up or intimidate young, muscular hardmen/gangsters twice his size and half his age - because it becomes very silly to watch.

But they won't.

Perhaps the Philth's total and utter invincibility is part of Steve's contract?

Who knows?

The Mitchells are not and never have been big time criminals.

When Weeble and Grunt arrived they were just small time chancers who could handle themselves in a fight.

I like the more grounded family man version of Vincent and it makes sense. Vincent came in with a grudge against the Mitchells and had this dangerous past that we eventually learned was Kim getting the wrong end of the stick.

His vengence against the Mitchell's was all based on lies from Claudette, keen to shake of her past mistakes. He has no beef with the Mitchell's anymore. He has a business and a family and has let go of the past now he understands the truth.

His anger, was always pushed and egged on by Claudette.

I'd like to see more focus on him and Kim playing at happy families, and maybe giving him a friend or two in the Square. Also it was a shame he missed the opportunity to interact with Sam because Phil commented that he went to school with her, that could've been interesting.

Actually I don't- the only ones I would like to see go that have not been announced yet are - Tina, Donna & Shakil.

Vincent has been disappointing but I would like him to be saved but he could be vulnerable to the axe.

I hope so. I've only got the Fox/Hubbards and Fowler/Slaters left to root for. Oh, and what's left of the Carters.

Like every other DTC "character" Vincent was brought in for one purpose, and now that it's been fulfilled he's been left on the scrap heap. They're not so much characters as storylines dressed up as characters.

So true - and it's so frustrating. We have hardly scratched the surface with characters like the Cokers, Kyle and Lee, yet they're on their way out.

I'd add Kirsty, Jake, Danny and Vanessa to the list - all potentially interesting characters during their time, who turned out to be just glorified plot devices.

I hope Vincent survives the current cull and is developed properly, he can be great to watch.
