I wish both Karens would depart. For the same reason - they're both so smug. Or "fresh" (I'm still cringeing over Karen climbing on top of Will and staying there so long - UGH.)
Though after watching their practice video, I'm not too keen on Will either - kinda dopey or something. It's hard for me to imagine him winning but then, I've no idea who he is in real life. Well done I guess for making it in show biz or whatever, considering....

I'll miss Karen! As someone else said, she's been great with the duffers she's been handed - doing her best to make their experience a positive and memorable one. I can forgive any annoying traits, because she seems like a genuinely "good" person, as does Kevin.

I love Karen. Her choreo isn't always brilliant but I think she's sweet, gorgeous and funny as well as being very talented. Like you say she never moans and has done a brilliant job with some less natural dancers. Her partnership with Jeremy Vine last year was pure joy IMO.
However, I think people are jumping to conclusions - where is there any proof that this is Karen's last series?

A generous post Dervla in a thread with some mean comments. Karen herself seems a bit of a nut and she does better with celebs with personality and, dare I say, a brain! I like and agree with the comment about her and Natalie being open-hearted in their approach.
Otherwise, I'll miss her too when she leaves. Karen has a warm, latin fierceness and whilst she may not be the best standard ballroom dancer, she's brilliant at latin. But her leaving will be for a wonderful purpose, to start a family.

I don't know where the basis for this rumour has come from but if true I will miss her.
I couldn't abide her in her first series with Nicky Byrne and regularly blamed her for hampering him. i was completely indifferent to her partnership with the Hairy Biker because I can't stand him. However, she began to grow on me with Mark Wright and I was impressed that she took him all the way to the Finals against all odds. My respect really grew for her last year for the way she threw herself fully into her partnership with Jeremy knowing full well that they didn't have a cat in hell's chance of winning.
She has a lot of weird quirks but those are all forgotten when I consider her generosity of spirit and her selflessness in that she always puts her partners front and centre no matter their ability.
Her latin dancing is absolutely amazing to boot.

Seems to be a thing - Camilla, Flavia. At least Aliona waited until her second win, then retired as the most successful Pro, (and she was the 2nd youngest female Pro on the Show when she retired).
Back OT - I think Karen has always given 100% and worked hard to do her best with her Celeb.
She may not have the experience necessary for the 10 dances, but its TPTB that hired her, so any blame for that is theirs alone. They should be very happy with Karen's work on the Show.

I love Karen's 'nuttyness'. Whenever there's fun in Claudia's room Karen's always really OTT. Her energy is amazing!
