Just my luck to tune back into Hollyoaks after 3 and a half yrs to have Ste and his latest 'love' rammed down my throat. I didn't think it was going to bother me seeing Ste with someone (Stendan fan here). The first scene with the spray tan stuff it just didn't seem like the Ste I remembered but then when he was telling that Harry person he loved him yuck still can't stand the thought of Ste with someone other than Brendan which is why I'd stopped watching!
I only tuned in as I'd watched last week on catch up and started getting into James' story and wanted to see more of him

So Ste turned up on his ex's house , when she's having a party request and expects she'll sign agreement just like that?
With all sympathy to Jesse and Celine they didn't even become proper couple yet, so why such a fuss?

It is a shame. I wasn't a Stendan fan but I did like them together and I thought they worked. There was a chemistry there. However, since Brendan's departure, ste's characterisation has been all over the place. Tbh, I don't think anyone was ever going to top Brendan and I think the writers knows this. However the way declared his love for doug, married JP, and now loves this 18 year old lad so soon after his epic love is just ridiculous. I think it's worse that the writers have regressed him back to his chav like state.

You've chosen the right time to tune back in, though probably not the best episode. Todays eppy was the weakest in weeks but overall the show has improved and finally turning a corner. I know what you mean about James. He's my favourite character. I think he's amazing and I find him fascinating to watch.
