I really liked it when she told it like it is to that vile witch Shirley. Both barrels like.
Someone really should tell that utter waste of space Mick too, though he is probably too clinically stupid to understand. |

I've never liked Sonia but I was cheering for her tonight. The Carters have taken no responsibility for Sylvie at all, and Shirley's comment about Sonia 'pretending to be a lesbian' was nasty and borderline-homophobic. I'm glad Sonia handed Shirley her arse on a plate.

Not a fan of Sonia but tonight I was cheering her on. Everything she said was spot on, the Carters are a hypocritical selfish family.

Good scene but her finest hour was giving birth in 2000. Wonderfully acted by Natalie Cassidy.

I remember when she took down Pauline but that was brutal.
Hopefully Saint Horrible Sonia takes more names tomorrow. |

She was great. I just wish she'd done it in the Vic while they were all there.

Sonia was magnificent. My only gripe is that only Shirley got it - they all deserved the same treatment especially Mick and Tina.

"I hope she bites ya" is my favourite line from EE 2016 so far
![]() A worthy rival for Sharon's "cheese and pickle? Basic" from last year. |

She was magnificent tonight and I'm pleased the writers are doing a cracking job with Sonia. I will miss her when Sonia temporarily leaves EastEnders, I hope they continue with the excellent writing for her when she comes back.

It was Natalie Cassidy's best moment since she returned to EE a couple of years ago.
She really told the truth about the Carters. The way they've made Sylvie the responsibility of Sonia makes them seem like selfish monsters who only care about their immediate interests. The indifference to Sylvie by the Vic Carters has been shocking. |

Loved it - the best Sonia's been in a good while. Shirley was, has per, needlessly horrid and finally got it back at her.

I don't dislike Sonia, I'm mostly indifferent - the only times I've really liked and rooted for her were when Jamie died (she made me cry - merry bleeding Christmas to you too Sonia) and during her feud with Pauline. Then she came back and I was indifferent again. But tonight she was cracking!
"I hope she bites ya " is right up there with "You, bring up Chloe? You couldn't bring up phlegm" as one of my all-time favourite Sonia moments

The indifference to Sylvie by the Vic Carters has been shocking. Felt this literally could've been Sonia's last scene [other than a last-minute reconciliation between her and Bex] too actually. |

I hope Sonia marches into the Vic, hands them an invoice for her time and moonwalks back out. Trumpet optional.
