And news on series 11 being announced? Although to me this series kinda feels like the end
No news on a season 11 yet. It is going to be very expensive if they do renew it as all cast contracts are up at the end of the current season. If they were to renew it i think you are looking in the region of $8 million an episode just for the cast. Personally i dont think Warner Bros will have a problem paying it or CBS paying increased cost because of the money they can make from it. It stills hits over 3 on demo so is a money machine.

Loved it, especially the beautiful scene when Sheldon gave Amy an MRI Scan of his brain and the sections lighting up because he was thinking of her. The allure of the brain is very strong in their relationship and being a neurobiologist Amy will know about the bits lighting up.

I hope they do a Season 11 as this has been a very strong Season 10.

Yes as i pointed out they make alot. But there comes a point when it makes no sense. Syndication is usually for 10 years, so after that the price is not going to keep going up just because you have more episodes, so CBS will be making less money on the show, plus having to pay more for costs and ratings will slowly go down. So it will end up making no sense to keep going. Personally i think it will get renewed but doubt it will have more than 2 seasons maybe only 1 more.

My figure of $8million for cast was probably a low estimate as well it may end up being closer to $10million for cast unless they lose cast members which i dont see them doing.

And people wonder why no one wants to be toilet cleaners, but want to be actors or popstars instead.

Yeah i know. But i suppose your only going to get figures like that if your in a hit, and the way the industry is, it can be ruthless. So if you do manage to be in a hit you make the most of it.

I bet the actress who was in the original pilot is sick to have not made it.

I don't think the actress was particularly bad, I think the character was poorly written, she was nothing like Penny.

Amanda Walsh. Maybe but then again if they had kept her, it may have only lasted a season and none of them would be earning the money they are.

I think they might be in for a much trickier negotiating period this time around. If the big three want a big pay raise then what happens with the pay of say Mayim and Melissa? They already were getting way way less than most of the cast.

In terms of screen time Mayim have had a large increase now that she is living with Sheldon, Melissa had the pregnancy storyline which has had a lot of focus. Can they still continue to have that huge pay gap with them?
