That's right. I do think though, if people think a thread's reportable because it breaks the rules, they should just report it and let the mods decide. It's not like we can demand a thread be closed or whatever - we just alert the mods and then it's up to them.

Of course everyone's entitled to express their opinions, but there are rules here and if doing so breaks them then those people will have to air their views somewhere else

Spot on. So there are more gay characters in Corrie than IRL demographically. There are also far more murderers and criminals in a street than is normal for the UK, every year around late May some kind of explosion or disaster happens on the same street and everybody works and socialises with their neighbours, most of whom they are related to. It is far from the most ridiculous thing if we are talking about being realistic. Also OP what exactly would be a "Gay soap"

Big Congrats on the 30K Scrabs!!!

I'd agree with that. At least those topics are... Interesting.

I'm sure she'll have characters planned regardless of whether they're gay or straight.

Whilst some members have attempted to turn this thread into somewhat of a discussion, as it was basically started on the premise of "I don't like seeing men kiss" and "please don't turn my soap in to a gay soap!", there really is no reason to keep it open.
