I really hope not. Two characters fighting for the affections of their mutual relative feels very overplayed as a soap cliche. I think it would be a refreshing change if Eva and Toyah overcame the inital awkwardness and hit it off as friends. They'll definitley share something in common when the Maria/Aiden stuff comes out. I've thought for a while that having Leanne, Eva and Toyah end up sharing a flat together would be an interesting dynamic rather than yo-yoing Leanne from Peter to Nick constantly.

But yes, in reality I think they will feud for the attention of Leanne and keep upping the stakes against each other as Corrie love to do.

Fantastic news, Leanne is one of my favourite characters and it be great to have Toyah back beside her and GT was great in Casualty.

I don't see a "feud" with Toyah and anyone really, she wasn't a nasty character. She was a just a wild teen but matured quite a lot by the time she left, it was Leanne who was nasty back then.

This is Corrie in 2016 though SH, every character has to have an uncharacteristic feud with another character for no apparent reason at least once.

Back in the day Maria seemed more self-confident than Toyah. Toyah will soon see Maria having changed with what has happened to her eg Liam, Tony, Marcus.

Eva will at first feel her nose pushed out of joint as Leanne & Toyah have so much catching up to do, and for Leanne Toyah could still feel more like a true sister than Eva.


Leanne could threaten to blow the secret of Steve being her baby's dad unless he lets her, Toyah & Eva run the Rovers together!

In answer to both your points, Georgia has indeed been good in other roles. I particularly liked her in Law & Order (ironically acting alongside Bradley Walsh, whose character Danny Baldwin Leanne had an affair with) and found her better-looking there than in Corrie.

This might make me watch Coronation Street again, I always liked Toyah and Georgia's a great actress
