Has anyone else received an email from NOW TV saying that you now have a free kids pass for 4 months?

I didn't order/activate anything and don't require this type of pass! I wonder if this offer is made because this pass is not popular with the NOW TV customers and just want to generate some interest?

The cheek of it is after the 4 months, they will charge £2.99 per month if not cancelled!

The cheek was creating a new pass and making those with kids have to pay more, but I guess it looks better than putting up the entertainment pass price.

A lot of people defended it, saying they didn't have kids, so it would be funny if Sky split things up again in the future.

They offered this to some people at the time the pass was created, I've got just over a month left to run on my pass, but will be cancelling it before they start to charge me for it.

Ive had this offer and the pass will automatically cancel.
I have kids and Im not renewing. Its just not worth the money. You really don't want to get in the habit of paytv for the kids. Kids are expensive enough!

They are happy with YouTube.

YouTube, Cbeebies/CBBC and the like are fine.

After getting rid of Sky, my son hasn't missed Disney Junior and can actually watch a lot on YT anyway if he really wants.

It's a bit cheeky to charge for access to BBC channels in the pack, especially if you have the new Smart Now TV box.

Are you sure the pass will cancel automatically? When I've had passes I've always had to cancel them myself.

I since had a follow-up e-mail from NOW TV saying that the end of the four months, the pass will be automatically cancelled. However I'll keep a close watch.

The reason l was entitled to the free 4 months pass was that l recently had an entertainment pass.

But the episodes within the Kids Pass are old archived shows, similar to the BBC content on Netflix or Amazon Prime. You can still watch the iPlayer without one.
