If this means she'll be making fewer appearances on my TV, that is certainly good news.

I like Anita Rani and wish her well in this new venture.

Great news! Particularly because it'll annoy the anti-Anita brigade

Mel was fantastic, a really humorous and laid back style, and some great ad libs too!

I imagine Anita to be much more "businesslike" and on script. She must have done well on the day she stood in, though, for Craig to want her as host.

I'm not going this time, so won't get to experience Karen as a judge on tour. Hope I don't get to experience her as a judge on the main show either.

In 2014 Tom Chambers and Camilla Dallerup were judges. Wish I'd known before I bought tickets. They weren't very good at all, in my opinion.

I didn't dislike her but she didn't do anything IMO that made her stand out as why she should be the host?

Because the BBC can manage without her?

As I posted above, she stood in for Mel once on the Live Tour last year. I imagine she got the full tour on the strength of how well she did then?

Of far more interest to me is that Karen Hardy will be judging. Dry run for the TV show maybe.

The tour has nothing to do with the BBC so that knocks your theory on the head.
Thank goodness.
