Brendan "EXCLUSIVE" DS interview
James_Laverty

Interesting comment from Brendan in the various news pages tonight when asked about whether he wanted Arlene to return

"But the show has changed so much. The dancing has changed, the lighting has changed, the production. Everything is bigger and better and bigger and better. If you start to go backwards then the next thing you'd do is bring back some of the old professionals! Get rid of them! They were shit! That's why they didn't last!"

Wonder which professionals he was calling shit...

Maybe he was just making the point that the professionals who have been on the show the longest time are therefore the best?

Can't see the Beeb taking such a backward step and I think Brendan made a lot of sense with his answer.

Can't believe I'm praising him.

Trouble is someone can say something tongue in cheek, as Brendan does, but the moment it is put in print it is taken as a serious comment.

Typical disrespectful comment just for some attention.

I really do hope it was a joke kaycee, since there have been better dancers than Brendan on the show. Honestly, even if he was not being serious, Brendan should know better than to say it.
