Best for me is Alexandra Burke...she had the whole package...the voice, the dancing, the stage presence. No huge backing track/backing vocals needed to support her during up tempo songs. She had a fantastic voice on ballads too.
Little Mix are my favourite winners although Alexandra's duet with Begoncé still makes me emotional. My top 3 contestants of all time though are Rebecca Ferguson, Ella Henderson and Diana Vickers.
I think Little Mix will soon be the most successful ones, their longevity and the way they went on the contrary path of what the others had gone (getting bigger with each album instead of the opposite) shuts a lot of naysayers back from 2011. And deservedly so, they seem like they never stop improving.
I think it's extraordinary how they've maintained some high quality pop music throughout their careers, and ultimately grown in popularity over these last 5 years. For any X Factor related act to have their most successful era with their third album is an incredible achievement.

That "contrary path" of mainstream pop and masses of XF hype.

Are you kidding? I am not a huge fan of Little Mix and even if you don't like their music, surely you can still see their talent?
They are actually a girl group who can all sing, Perrie especially, and harmonise beautifully together. Plus they actually know how to 'perform' to a crowd and can dance too, they are hugely talented imo.
