Billy's words seemed to really hit home with Todd - the way he is IS a defence mechanism. I just hope KO is finally going to tell us why.

I loved that we got to see a snippet of a more sensitive Todd the other night (that single tear *sobs*) . I think he acts out and makes dumb decisions because he is hurting and seems to have a very low opinion of himself and I'd love if Kate Oates gave us more of an insight on why.
Bruno Langley is always immensely watchable and Todd is in my opinion one of the most interesting characters on the Street.

I completely agree. He is far more sensitive than he appears, and long term viewers will remember a much sweeter Todd when he first arrived.

It was supposedly the "good" Todd who lied to police about Tony's involvement in Callum's murder. I'm not so convinced he's a decent soul underneath it all, he definitely has a dark side to him.

The one who cheated on the mother of his child.

I reckon he's fictional.

Thanks.

There is no good Todd. He's always had that dark side. Thats what makes him compelling

Years ago we had his coming out storyline - which was pretty traumatic - losing the baby and all. Then his fleeing to London which he was bound to do - and it ending up a mess. Which was mainly due to Todd.

He's always been one of the most compelling actors on the series. Corrie half the time is not worth watching - but it is for Todd and Phelan

I dont believe he is a character who will have a happy homelife - its just not in him.

Awww, that's kind of depressing. I think he genuinely loves Billy though so I'd really like them to make a go of it.

"Todd" was trending on Twitter on Monday so I think he is a character that holds your interest whether you love or hate him. Personally I love him because he's unpredictable and despite the cockiness there's something quite fragile about him.
I'd really like to know more about his dad too, him crying at Jason's speech at Tony's funeral showed another small chink in his armour.

I hope we see more of him and Sarah, I enjoyed their stuff together during her breakdown. He seems more real around her.

Definition of "Holier than thou" - Sanctimonious, self righteous, complacent, smug, priggish, pious, goody-goody, and preachy. .

How is that relevant to this thread?

I really like Todd and Bruno Langley is so watchable. I would love to know what made him the way he is! Hopefully KO will give us the answers

Fingers crossed she will.

Not sure where this Phelan stuff will go. I don't think Todd and Phelan will stay on the same side for long.

Bruno Langley is a very charismatic actor. Glad they're giving him lots to do.

So Todd hasn't slept soundly in years. We really need to know what happened to him.

Well if you don't know, then I can't be bothered to explain.

It's not - it's just gratuitous rudeness.

Aww that line was quite poignant, I think. We agree - we need to know what happened.

I pray you're right and that there are no real life Todds.

Not at all, just reminding someone not to be so judgemental and to get off their high horse.

It wasn't even addressed to you, but you just couldn't resist the opportunity to be offended on someone else's behalf.
