Today marks the 10 year anniversary of Sadie and Cain's exit bringing the Tom King kidnap drama to an end, and providing two of the greatest soap episodes ever.
Full of twists and surprises, stunts, and incredible acting from the Dingle and King families, it gave an incredible, fitting exit to two of Emmerdale's biggest legends.
I still think to this day Cain (fake) shooting Sadie is the most shocking soap moment ever.

Yes it was the legendary Kathleen Beedles, imo the best ED producer ever. I remember on that Emmerdale at 40 programme a few years ago she spoke about it and said that the kidnap week went way over budget and she got told off by the higher ITV bosses, so worth it though.
