Bumping this up. Sadly, I didn't get the job. Gave a good interview but fell short as there was two more experienced candidates.

Cheers Neil. Their loss, it's good to build up the experience of interviews. I'm sure the right job will come along soon, keep applying.

Evening all!

Sorry to hear that, Neil. Keep on keeping on.

I hope tonight's episode is of a similar quality to the last couple.

Yes, it is good to have experience with interviews. I pretty much fell into my job so I was extremely lucky but it would have been beneficial for me to have had more experience about taking myself up. I'm far to modest.

Hi everyone - thanks for your kind words. To be fair, a fair few job interviews are like glorified internal selections ie their candidates have already been chosen pre-hand.

It's just annoying, I try and try (this was my first interview in four months!) and get nowhere with it. I want to live nearer my family in the North of our region, but can't afford it - unless I didn't eat or pay any bills for a month.

Still, you live and learn and let's hope EE follows the trend of Mon and Tues' episodes.

That happens alot in the civil service, favouritism seems to have an upper hand in some areas :|

Is this bloody Ollie storyline STILL going on?

"He's fine"
"But what if the doctor says he isn't?"

Repeat ad infinitum
