I always liked Poppy and thought she should never have been axed- We could have seen her Mum played by Deena Payne- I would have called Michaela but she would have been known as Michaela 'Mickey' Meadow and of course Stacey's Nan - Bambi Loveday!

I loved Poppy too and thought her axing was really stupid. I have to be truthful I'm not a fan of what DTC did to EE. Now I look back at it I just think what a mess. I know nothing happened at all under Newman but I think she had a better grip on the show to be completely honest.
Not a casting but I wouldn't mind seeing Rose back for Dot. I felt they never gave this character a fair chance and then she was left in limbo when June Brown went off on a break from the show. I always felt Polly Perkins was ideal for EE so its a shame it was such a short stint.

this is not a casting either, but how about a Channel 5 "benefit" family
Good ole Tony Stamp from the Bill. He's an experienced actor, ok maybe not a big name but he can hold a decent storyline. I picture him as a plumber/electrician. The vic is crying out for barflies like Garry and Minty were (maybe not as annoying), someone who is often found in the vic and will help get that community feel back. I reckon Graham could play a bit of a wise guy/joker sort of character.
The actress turned up briefly a couple of years back as a fling for Billy M. But that needn't matter, the show will need strong females once Ronnie and Roxy leave.
got it - some blokes who can act as removal men - come next 3-4 months, they will need a lot of vans - that is - nearly forgot - most seem to leave empty handed or with a suitcase at the most.
