The tickets for May 27th are not exactly causing a stampede...........how anyone thinks they can ask £100 is beyond me!

The 'best place' to be on launch night is at home with plenty of booze and instant critical judgements. Even I'm getting excited about it!

I wonder if these tickets were given out at the BB Event yesterday? I notice they say 'voucher' on them?

I'm still waiting with bated breath for an e-mail from Applausestore.com who I've used before, but doubt many tickets will be issued just yet.

And if I'm not at the actual launch, I shall also be stocking up on plenty of booze as I've asked (too many) friends over that night.

I'm also having a new kitchen fitted during that week ... so much excitement!!

Yes I think they are 'the freebies' which makes a starting bid of £100 laughable. I also wonder how much you see or are told about these people who on launch night are total unknowns?

I have to agree with you there, I wanted to go to the launch this year, and even started to apply for tickets, but after thinking it over I decided to stay at home and see all the build up / background etc from there.

Certainly wound'nt pay over £100 to go there !!

Its a good night but nowhere near worth £100!

Ahh well - I shall just have to keep stocking up on wine and nibbles for Launch Night at home!

I'd also prefer to have tickets for a 'normal' eviction - there's too much to take in on the first night and I'd feel a bit of a **** cheering for someone I've never even seen before at the Launch Night!

It is wierd, cheering for them! One things that was really cool about the launch night is, they record a minute of cheers that are used for the crowd noise for the rest of the series, so everytime we heard the crowd noise, we got excited that it was us! What can i say, im easily pleased!

Is Applausestore.com any good? I'm about to register!

They are the ones that made up some of the prizes.

You might as well, funkyfresh5.

You don't pay anything to register and the tickets issued are free. They e-mail me every now and then with tickets for various shows, most recently being for Celebrity Wrestling (funnily enough, I didn't take them up on that offer! ) and The Farm (too far away for me).

During BB, you need to keep checking their web-site as tickets tend to go quite quickly.

I've never had problems with them, so it's worth registering - you don't have to accept what they offer you anyway. If I don't get tickets for the launch (and I'm now thinking I'll have more fun at home with my friends and wine!), I still hope to go to another eviction night again. They're good fun!

What is the 'history' of BB launch night tickets? I would have assumed that to have a ticket 3 weeks beforehand is very rare.. Just a thought.

I think the first Launch tickets for this year, are those handed out at the BB Event. Previously, I think it's been 10 days before the show that tickets are sent?

Oooh, sorry CHUTNEY - only just noticed this!

Well, as much as I'd love to mention a 'big' eviction - I'm far too honest a lass!

I went to a couple of Celeb BB evictions this year - (Yeah) Jackie's and Caprice and Jeremy 'Orange' Edwards.

Really enjoyed both and can't wait to go back this summer (hopefully). Got to have a little chat with Davina during the ad breaks and a little chat with her bodyguards in the local Tesco afterwards (as you do!) Plus - got my face on TV!

Some of these ticket sales on eBay did fetch pretty good prices, the best I've noticed being £51 for a pair. The ones that were offered at £100 didn't find a buyer, though — not surprisingly.

Click here for details of completed auctions.

Some similar auctions are still in progress, if anyone's interested. Click here.

£51? Wow, someone was sure desperate! I myself would rather get tickets to the final; the opening night interests me in front of the TV really!

EDIT: They were for the final I see, well, still £51 is quite extortionate!
