The two auctions that went for £51 were both for the opening night as far as I can see, James.

So they were, so they were. I read "Because them ones are for an eviction night in July, if you look closer at the picture!" and jumped to the wrong conclusion, thanks for correcting me!

Thanks, James.

Good God, everyone's being alarmingly polite and civilised this evening! What's going on? The calm before the storm? Or have I landed in the wrong forum? This can't be DS:BB, surely...

Ah, well. I'm sure there will be big changes coming up, and an influx of new members, no doubt

Incidentally, if anyone wants to go to the launch night for free, you could have a look at this auction.

I know nothing at all about the person who's make the offer.

Oh I'm a bit of a wimp, I wouldn't like to go with complete strangers

I think you're not alone in that, James. This is the second time that the eBayer in question (I can't really call him a seller, in this case) has tried to give away the tickets.

For his first try, click here. It was a very short auction, though, since, "The seller ended this listing early because of an error in the minimum bid or Reserve amount."

Perhaps he thought the mention of 99p was putting people off?

Click here to see a pair of tickets for the eviction night of 29th July.

The current eBay auction price, with four days to go, is £150, should you happen to have any spare cash.

So BB is only going to be on for 9 weeks if the eviction is on the 29th? I thought it was supposed to be the longest ever, not the shortest

Its people not reading it properly like you that means the tickets are going for so much. I quote "Ticket for 2 to one of the final Eviction nights" It doesn't say its the last eviction night just one of the last few.

Oh, I see now, I did read it quickly and saw final, if I was going to bid on it I'd read it more carefully. Anyway, glad it's not the final on the 29th

No worries You're right though, people aren't reading it properly, there are tickets for the week before going for £40 with 2 days till the auction ends but the ones for the 29th with 'final' in the description are at £150 with 4 days to go bidders obviously think it's for the final

You're probably right, Mrs M. I don't think that in this case you can blame the seller of the ones that are currently £150 though, can you? The auction description is perfectly clear and not at all misleading, unlike some which deliberately set out to deceive buyers. If the bidders are failing to read the description properly, then that's their problem, isn't it?

Caveat emptor!

Agree with that, seller has done nothing wrong for a change. Luckily shouldn't get negative feedback for it either as tickets will arrive before the actual eviction anyway so feedback will be left before realising its not last eviction.

The seller can't be blamed, maybe all those people who say BB obsessives are brain-dead are right

Except the ones on DS of course
