No-one else watching any more? I've got a bit behind but just caught up with Episode 4 and it was a cracker, lots of humour, Robbie getting and using the Ghost Rider's signature flaming chain, Daisy and Jemma working together, Jemma spotting AIDA was an android from the off!
Really liking the way they're integrating all of the Doctor Strange magic/spirits and the supernatural throughout the season instead of it all tieing in with a big film promotion around Episode 17. I know Doctor Strange is out now so it makes sense but I like that it's also in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. without people having to see the film to understand what's going on. Also really liking how they've got Daisy and Robbie into the S.H.I.E.L.D. fold and working together and liked that James, aka Hellfire, was still as big an arse as he was before HIVE! |

Woah Episode 5 got a bit creepy at times. I like that they didn't drag out finding the Darkhold and that the Book of Sin is now in play with the mad ghosty scientist. I wonder if this is now where they're going to go close to Robbie's version of Ghost Rider's backstory with his uncle Eli being a baddie. Especially considering the fact him and Gabe were a targeted hit came out during the prison escapade.
Also cracking good fight scenes this week with Daisy going back to May style old school laying down the pain rather than using her Quake powers. I loved that this was basically a prison riot/breakout episode with almost all of it taking place in lock down. Loving the ABC networking by having George Stephanopoulos doing the interviewing of Senator Nasty (I know that's not her real name but hey she's a villain) and Director Mace. Loved the subtle nod to his comic book hero persona, The Patriot. And the what did you see when you died conversation between May and Coulson was priceless as was his Captain America-esque Shield coming out his robotic hand! And as a PS, just realised the comatose hubby/scientist was Kerr Smith from Dawson's Creek/Charmed et all and probably why I thought he looked familiar/very attractively comatose! |

I find it further interesting that we've seen the bike and jacket of Johnny Blaze. I wonder whether they'll ever introduce more than one Rider. I'm also wondering how a Rider (would have) fared against Hydra-Ford, considering their respective abilities. |

I've also not seen Episode 6 yet, I'm running behind on all my US show watching atm. |

Yes, I liked the really subtle nods to Johnny Blaze during the episode when they were hunting for the book, his jacket, the Quentin Carnival poster on the wall but I thought it was Dan Ketch's version who introduced the Hellchains?

Man, what a great episode! Ever since the inclusion of Ghost Rider, I want to watch this show. Gabriel Luna has done a great job so far, really looks like a tortured soul and really needs his own show!

There is hope though, cause now they've established the character, it's possible they could introduce (a) Rider into the Avengers. Knowing there's more than one Rider out there, it wouldn't be too far a stretch for one of them to turn up in Infinity War either. |

It'll be interesting to see where the character goes toward the end of the show. I can't see him (or a Rider) being integrated into SHIELD permanently, he's too volatile, and doesn't fit in with what SHIELD is trying to establish, thus I'm not convinced we'll be seeing much of him (if anything) next season. SHIELD is prominently about it's agents. A Rider will never be an Agent.

I didn't know that the show had taken a break and won't return until the end of November which is a pity as I'm really enjoying it!
Are the stories about Agents Of SHIELD could be cancelled because of falling ratings true? |

Are the stories about Agents Of SHIELD could be cancelled because of falling ratings true? They've just won an industry award as well for their location work. Plus most of the press and social media has been positive and they're close to syndication episode numbers. |

ABC and Marvel have announced a new 8 part Inhumans series but it won't be a spin off of AoS.
Presumably it will still be set within the MCU so they'll surely have to have at least a nod to AoS. |

It seems to be conflicting reports about ratings for Agents Of SHIELD as there are reports that they are improving but it's still at risk for cancellation
I guess the Inhumans TV series has got fans more concerned about cancellation for Agents Of SHIELD From what I've read about the Inhumans show is that it will be a 8 episode season so far that will focus on the Inhumans royal family so that's characters like Black Bolt and Medesa who you would expect to be in a film which doesn't seem to be happening now! |

Not been enjoying this season all that much but thought this episode was better.
Glad they didn't drag out the ghosts thing with Coulson and co for more than an episode, still got to put up with the Ghost Rider though ![]() Who will end up as the seasons big bad I wonder? Obvious candidate is Eli but I have a feeling it could turn out to be Ada now that she's gained the power of the Darkhold. Or maybe this new long gestating Inhuman or could he be a link to the new series (even though they said it wasn't going to be a spin off). |

Not that bad of a mis-season final I didn't think; glad to see Daisy back officially on the team, and the director all suited up. Looks like a neat suit. I wonder whether he'll ever wear the red, blue & white? I'm expecting Robbie to make a (re)appearance at some point too. Presumably he, and his uncle now reside in the same place Coulson, Fitz and Robbie were before? Shouldn't the team be able to bring him back in a similar way? |

Those damn Androids you never can trust them.
![]() So I presume there's an actual reason why Ada is keeping May alive after replacing her but was quite happy to kill the other Agent (who I presume will be replaced as well) and not just cause one is a main character and the other a Redshirt. I was under the impression that the nuclear blast would have gone off in the inter-dimensional space so not exactly the place you want to open a gateway to. Robbie might end up surviving somehow but Eli is a goner, even being in the box would have killed him eventually, being burnt by the Ghostrider and being in a nuclear blast just sped things up a bit. I see Daisy actually does become Head of Shield for a while in the comics. |

Well that's what I expected them to do with it to bring Robbie back but Robbie will reappear again although I did like Coulson mention about him not being the only Ghost Rider to Daisy
It's going to be interesting to see how they spread out LMD to the rest of the season and if SHIELD take them on in the end like it in the comics! It was an ok midseason finale that was improved by the twist at the end and you do wonder when that happened to May for her to be captured and replaced? Also I hope I can get hold of the web series Sling Shot with Yo Yo as it could fill the gap inbetween the first and second half of the season! |

Didn't see that one coming.
I thought to myself May looked rather odd earlier on in the episode, wasn't sure why but wondering whether now the reveal, the May with Coulson was made to look slightly off. maybe it's just me though. |

The Agents Of SHIELD spin off web series Slingshot is available on YouTube to watch now via Marvel Entertainment channel on it and it doesn't seem to be restricted to just America!
Each episode is around 5 or 6 minutes long but all 6 episodes are on there to watch now! |
