Thank goodness for The Murphy as 10K really can't carry an episode by himself
Saying that within the group the only good characters other than Murphy are Doc and Roberta |

I thought last night's episode was weak.........all that running around and dreaming of the girl in red got a bit tedious........

Perhaps a thrid series was never thought likely. Still better than "zombie target practice" that is the depressingly grim Walking Dead. |

Well that was a good episode... plenty of opportunity for Doc to make Elvis jokes

![]() Thinking all the way back to the beginning, we saw him in an official office helping people, didn't we? Or was he the other side of the desk...? |

I'm somewhat taken aback that Doc either has an actual qualification in serious brain diagnosery or of course might just be the world's greatest bluffer. Or he knows the name of what happens to people testing his stuff, or he used to work at the 'sweet shop' in such an establishment.

.... Doc was a psychologist/addiction counsellor so he probably knew what he was talking about vis a vis the patients
and it just didn't strike me as a fruitful thing to do a search for 'flashback' when trying to find out something about Doc other than e.g. everything since 1973

Really enjoying all the movie references in this series.
Almost too many to remember. It is all as bonkers and entertaining as ever, I am waiting for The Man to reappear - plenty of unfinished business there I think. |

I like the way they aren't afraid to acknowledge what's inspired a particular part of their writing, in the sense that they put up this massive signpost (e.g. episode title) saying 'we thought you would appreciate this one' and more importantly make the effort to get it to fit the show.
So who's saner, the residents or the survivors outside...? |

Glad Citizen Z has got his Batcave back. Bit of a fish out of water without it. Good ep last night although getting the gang back together only to split them up again was slightly annoying.

I would've said that was a shark-jumping moment but with this show it's a hard accusation to level!
Opinion may change if they over-do it, we shall see... |

Presumably the fact that The Murphy's skin is starting to return to it's natural colour is a side-effect of his eating brains??

Is he still taking 'the medicine'?.......maybe he's becoming a blend but from the opposite direction |

Given a choice between that and some 'song of the week' thing that seems to infect far too many shows, it wins hands down, plus it's important to establish a skill somewhere beyond "number one fan".

I'm assuming that his zombie-ness is wearing off.......not sure why though

Loved his scenes with The Man last night - I think Roberta et al are going to find him a far, far tougher proposition than before and so they bloody should - he is a post apocalyptic God after all! |

Before he became The Murphy Keith Allan appeared in two zombie films that he co-wrote with one of the staff writers on Z Nation
