And it's more difficult to write for an ensemble and make it all seem interconnected and interesting. Hope the show's not flagging.

Well they managed to write for the group for the first two series ok. This one has been a real let down overall.

Very strange episode i thought. The bald lady looked scary as hell. the older woman looked and acted so strange. The younger of the 3 wasn't too crazy and acted ore normal than the others, I was surprised Doc didnt end one of their lives to be honest.

Writers feel like they're repeating themselves and producers/showrunners think they need to be innovating all the time in order to stop the audience becoming jaded. What they forget all too often is that they're living with this thing all the time whereas to us it's an hour a week and then only for 10-20 weeks or so a year so our perceptions are entirely different to theirs.

Argh f*** f*** s*** f*** f***ity f*** w***t*** b****** c****** t****o c***yb****cks aaargh unaccustomed as I am to public speaking I shall plainy relate the information that unfortunately due to the scheduling not matching the EPG by a significant margin the ending didn't record because the 'end' flag was transmitted too early, thus ending the recording prematurely, thereby somewhat marring my enjoyment of this splendid episode of broadcast entertainment magnificence.

Fortunately I can take a wild guess at what's coming (and a quick look at next week's summary possibly confirms suspicion) but I just wanted to check the last scene was one where it all seemed a bit quiet and as we approach the brow of a hill to see... the recording end.

Not spoilered because it's now shown, there's no repeat and I'm hoping that's insufficient to spoil anyway but sufficient to identify whether or not I should just end it all now though I'm hoping that next week's 'previously on' covers it and that's going to be a manual recording with about three hours fore and aft just to cover any technical issues.

Good ep nonetheless, the 'talk to the frenchman' thing reminds me of Wesley getting advice from the burger statue at the drive-through...

Good episode !

My memory is shocking but I think the end of last night's episode was where Addy was trailing the line of dead zombies left by The Man and she came to a bit of a crossroads and noticed a zombie with arm outstretched finger pointing in one direction...........and she said something like 'good girl Lucy' as though she assumed Lucy had left a clue as to which direction to go in......... then she zoomed off on the motorbike

It's possible there was a Murphy/Warren scene after that but it hasn't stuck in my mind and I'm not sure of the 'brow of the hill' thing.............

As further evidence of my shocking memory I couldn't remember who the biker gang were and how come they teamed up with Warren .......... and I couldn't think why Hector wasn't there. Of course it doesn't help that we get these interruptions to the main story whilst we follow Doc and Addy for an episode or just Doc with his harem

I'm on Crystal Palace too - I suspect you have a minute or two 'spare' on your recording setup? Apart from a couple of late starts, I don't think Pick has done this to me before, unless I erased a previous traumatic experience from memory...

Other channels have been evil on this front so maybe it was Pick's mux's turn...

No problemo, as someone once said it sounds like I might be OK as long as I can correctly reassemble the combination of what I've seen, your description, and the 'previously on' bits.

I don't remember the one pointing but did see the TumbleZee roll past
Or Tumblezeed though that's maybe too much like tumbleseed which isn't anything? Tumble-z-weed would be too confusing...
