I used my Firestick yesterday evening without any issues but later last night, when I went on it, it said home was unavailable and to check connection.

When I went to connections, it said my signal strength was very good but I was connected with issues. I clicked forget network, put in my password & connected again but this time my wifi signal was ranging from out of range to very good & wouldn't connect.

I left it unplugged over night to see if that fixed it but it still wouldn't connect this morning. I then unplugged my router and Firestick for a hour and tried again. Still wouldn't work.

I then took my Firestick upstairs, swapped it with the one plugged into the bedroom TV & it worked fine up there! Brought the one that was plugged into the bedroom tv downstairs, plugged it in & it wouldn't work!!

The Firestick downstairs has been in the exact same spot without any issues for about a year now with no issues until last night. What else can I try?

Yeah, they just tried to blame my provider even though everything else works perfectly & it works on a different TV

By the sound of it something is interfering with the WiFi signal. Doesn't take too much to disrupt a 2.4GHz signal. Even moving the TV or the router a short distance can have an effect. Have you tried the HDMI extender that should come with the Firestick to see if moving it about improves the signal at all?

Also how are you powering the Firestick? Are you using the power supply or a USB port on the TV. When you swapped between TVs did you also swap over the power supplies or just used the bedroom supply with the living-room Firestick and vice versa? If you did leave the power supplies where they were it might be worth swapping those round as well just in case the living room one has gone faulty in some way.

Though I'm more inclined to a WiFi problem. You haven't stuck some big lump of metal between router and TV have you? But try moving the Firestick or router very slightly to see if the signal firms up.

I have had this once on each of my two Firesticks one was resolved with a reboot the other was resolved by moving it 6 inches away from my router.
It seems devices can be too close to the router, I've had the same second problem on a few devices where a little movement away from the router cured any issues.

Or too close to the TV. I've just bought an extended WiFi extender which seems to have done the trick for me as the stick is now well away from the TV.

You might want to check proximity of a cordless phone base station, too. They can sometimes interfere with other equipment.
