Assuming he really is dead, that is.

No, vincent lied to her

I reckon Fatboy and perhaps all the other dodgy things she has done will all come to haunt her and be apart of her exit.

I thought it was Claudette who set Fatboy up? on New Years day there is a scene in the ep where Ronnie is on her way to let Vincent out the boot only to then bump into him in the street so she heads away from the Archers thinking he got out, its not until later she realized Fatboy was in the car and not Vincent.

The whole bl..dy storyline never made sense to me. Mind you probably because I just didn't care. Ronnie with Vincent was so contrived. Producer wanted rid of Fatboy so came up with a sensational plot. He was a character that needed a back of a taxi exit to pastures new.

Claudette leaves first so I can't see her taking any responsibility for Fatboy's death if it comes out.

I hope Fatboy is forgotten and they give Ronnie a better exit

Who actually killed Fatboy? A hired goon who Ronnie paid to kill Vincent but Claudette tricked into mistaking Vincent for Fatboy? Have I got that right? What happened to his body though? Did Vincent dispose of it?

Yep, that's about it. Ronnie's fans will defend her by saying she changed her mind about killing Vincent, but let's face it, it was her incompetence (who tells someone to kidnap someone and put them in the boot of a car without showing a picture?) and her indecisiveness (changing her mind at the last minute, which made it too late to go and let 'Vincent' out of the boot) which led to poor Fatboy dying. Yes, Claudette was ultimately responsible, but if she hadn't deceived Ronnie's hired muscle about Fatboy, it probably WOULD have ended up as Vincent dying, so Ronnie would still have had blood on her hands.

The way the writers made Ronnie out to be the victim in that episode after lovely Fatboy suffered the most horrible death imaginable will always represent the absolute lowest point of her character.

It was just executed very badly. You have to watch it about 3 times to understand what happened. A lot of people seem to have rewrote history on the events but this is down to very poor storylining.

The real reason it was so hard to understand what happened is because they cut several Ronnie scenes to make room for the Dean/Mick/Shirley show down.

It is only in EastEndersLand that we are expected to believe that one can straightforwardly hire an unseen unspecified contract killer / gangster / thug to kill someone on one's behalf, and then be relied on to disappear without ever revealing anything about the plot.
