Just as soon as the people who claim to hate the sensationalist plot driven crap see a couple of quiet episodes where not much happens they start moaning about the dullness and its not as good as it used to be, See the Eastenders Episode threads for that, or rather don't heh

Even Robron were deemed boring when the "forbidden " aspect of their "love " was over

Suppose it just proves the old maxim that you can't please all of the people all of the time. It's all a matter of balance, which for me, ED is not getting right at the moment.

After the wild excesses of the Kate Oates era Ex Hollyoaks is going to take a lot to get used to

The internet has turned people into impatient drones wanting everything tied up ASAP then onto the next storyline.”

I'm sure someone in the convent can tell you about Emmerdale before it became a six times a week smut fest dear.

The very Tracy who stole Eric's bank card and secreted on another individual in an effort to get them sent to prison. Why the hell would Eric want anything more to do with her?

bib: I do!!

Ross is not Tracy's equivalent. He is a great character, for starters!

Thank to Olds for filling in for me last night.

That couple of episodes really tested my patience. I actually hit FF when they started doing the 'Tragedy' routine. Embarrassing stuff.

Yeah, I don't think she's that bad.

I guess overall people see Ross as charming where the do not with Tracy, but generally people are more forgiving of Tracy type characters if they are male.

Not really. Kim Tate was one of the shows best characters and she did horrible things.

I can't stand either of them - one's a thug and the other is a chancer.

Strangely though, I did like Tracy as a manipulating, lying scammer when she first came into the show. Now they seem to be attempting to make her sympathetic she just sets my teeth on edge.

If the posters had to write, buy a stamp, then post,,,,,,Would there be any making comments?

the internet has brought forth a world of groaners moaners and a few praaisers of mere actors, All ages(mainly fairly older ones, lonely ones)

I can imagine(correct me if I am wrong) posters typing away, their minds stuck on some soap characters....seems real to them,

They may call it dramatic series,,but it is just soap to wash and rinse off,
One wonders if they are so obsessed by the soaps they hardly read betond TVaand Showbiz pages of journals/media crap

ED a little villaage, thats all...and because that is all, its affairs and the repercussions of affairs are really all they are about

I soon will bore with posters as I have bored with nigh all TV programmes,

Nothing is real anymore

You have a very poor view of FMs. I think generally for most people it's a bit of fun and a chance to chat. There's nothing wrong with that.

I hope you don't t mind me saying but you don't sound very well. Are you ok?

If they can keep away from too much Dan, Paddy, Moron, Kerry, Tracy (not my wish but others), david Brenda and Ross then everything would be fine

Really, that was one of the okay bits of the episode for me, though that's mostly because Finn was looking fit.

The other parts I enjoyed were the bits that featured Holly and Megan.
