ANASTACIA & BRENDAN!

Well done to the two of them (+ Gorka) on avoiding the Our Way bottom two all series. Judy Murray and Deborah Meaden will appreciate the virtual company.

That leaves us with two couples...Ed and Katya were the Our Way eliminees last weekend, while Daisy and Aljaž found themselves in the bottom two for the second consecutive week last night.

The couple in the bottom two with 7.27% of the vote is...

Normally I would have voted but as I was a judge this week, I decided it'd be unfair, but Ore would have been 4th from the top on my vote, how much difference would that make?

DAISY & ALJAŽ

Okay, I am somewhat surprised by this. As with last weekend, I would convinced the outrage over their bottom-two appearance would lead to an Our Way vote boost. Apparently I was wrong again. On a side note, I do enjoy an Our Way bottom two where they're both considered to be 'good' though so thanks for that voters.

Ed and Katya are safe with 9.92% of the vote.

None whatsoever. He was fifteen votes behind Daisy who is in the bottom two herself.

Ore & Joanne vs. Daisy and Aljaž

It's now in the judges' hands
.

NICOLAS, who are you saving and why?

Well, seeing as Ore did a very uncharlestony Charleston with hideous makeup and several moments off time, and poor Daisy has fallen under Halloween's curse on Aljaz and the fact she is about a bajillion times better than Ore, I shall be saving Daisy and Aljaz.

AAAAGGGGHHHH, this dance off is even worse than the actual one.

Thanks Nicolas. An early lead for Daisy and Aljaž there as we go to our next judge.

QUEENIE, who are you saving and why?

My internet is going a bit faulty, when do you want me to cast a vote to save a couple?

Thank you Izzie.

This is an incredibly difficult decision I loved both performances but based on the fact that one couple made a mistake and the others, to me didn't I am saving Daisy and Aljaz but may I just say, none of you should be in this position.

That's a pretty convincing early lead for Daisy and Aljaž as we wait for Queenie and Ross to make their decisions...

Well, I think my scores tell quite a lot, but to summarise: Ore, your Charleston was just poor, with quite a few errors, while Daisy's Paso was just a little stiff - I save Daisy & Aljaz.

I'm saving Daisy, because I personally enjoyed her dance more on the night! It worked better as a performance than Ore's Willy Wonka impression.

Thanks all!

First week where all the judges have made it and you have very convincingly saved Daisy and Aljaž meaning that the Our Way elimination is...

ORE ODUBA & JOANNE CLIFTON

I said earlier in the series that I expected Ore to be 'that' contestant - the one you lot just can't take to while the judges consistently big them up. I was not wrong

I didn't like his Charleston that much where it didn't wow me

Onto round seven and the Blackpool murmurs are already picking up the pace…

Last weekend Anastacia and Brendan bowed out of the series as they lost to Daisy and Aljaž in the dance off. Here, it was Ore and Joanne who lost out to the very same couple as their Charleston failed to impress our voters.

After a week with gimmick turned up to the max, it was back to basics on Strictly this week with even the two ‘personality’ turns having Ballroom. It was also the night for Louise and Danny to throw down their ringer credentials and bag themselves a few 10s along the way. Will they repeat that feat today?

Due to time constraints, I’ve had to step in to mark this show and will be part of the following panel…

Ash (ADMR)
Callum (doctorwhofancal)
Izzie (IzzieStar)
Ross (rosco2010)

Opening the show were Danny and Oti…

Hope it's another week where Ore gets eliminated.
