Luke: I wasn't quite sure about the 'more cowbell' version of I Heard It Through the Grapevine you were dancing to (I assumed they'd slow it down and make it all acoustic and sultry. Turns out that subtlety isn't the Strictly way), but my god was that one heck of a dance. Sure, a tad more light and shade could have worked in your favour, but it's tricky to pull off with that sort of music. What you danced, you did fantastically. The footwork, those lifts... good grief, the man's a machine.

Quite surprisingly, that is only Danny’s second Our Way ten…

Jamie: I can't say I was a big fan of the opening - the feathers distracted from your dancing instead of enhancing it, and that lift where you lurched yourself at Kevin could've been handled better for sure. But once the actual Foxtrot started, the dance really took off and reached the high level I was expecting. It was a dance clearly in your wheelhouse, and I am glad your performances are coming more and more to life every week. It was a great end to an... interesting show, so muy bien. Muy bien indeed.

This really is just a series where our views pretty much line up with the judges as, once again, it's only the teeny tiniest of changes in scores and bottom twos that are tending to head the same way at the real thing. Oh well.
