Robert and Oksana – Our Way
Callum – 7
East – 7 Jess – 6 Julie – 8 Total: 28 Jess: Technically, it was *far* from perfect but the performance factor was there. I wouldn't have expected to see Rinder's chesticles before Greg's, however, that wasn't the most unexpected thing about his Cha-Cha-Cha. There's some rhythm there, definitely. And somewhere, deep, deep down there might be a good dance to come from Rinder. Our first boost of the series goes the way of the man with the gavel… THREE MARKS MORE Next up, it’s Lesley and Anton… |

Lesley and Anton – Our Way
Callum – 6
East – 5 Jess – 4 Julie – 8 Total: 23 Callum: Lesley, I didn't expect this to be so good, it was so classy and elegant and showed beautiful storytelling. Your shoulders seem to come up to your cheeks though, try and make Ballroom more relaxed. Quite the range of scores for Lesley and Anton there, but it all means that they… MATCH THEIR SCORE With the first Tango of the series, it’s Ore and Joanne… |

Ore and Joanne – Our Way
Callum – 6
East – 5 Jess – 4 Julie – 7 Total: 22 East: That frustrated me, you are a good dancer but far too much messing about and you broke hold in the middle. I’d maybe leave the bench out next time Joanne… FIVE MARKS FEWER Finally, it’s Greg and Natalie… |

Greg and Natalie – Our Way
Callum – 7
East – 6 Jess – 6 Julie – 8 Total: 27 Callum: A main staple of the Jive is energy, bounce and enthusiasm and you ticked every box. You really showcased real potential there and are showing foundations of a strong partnership- fab. Just missing out of topping our leaderboard, Greg and Natalie… MATCH THEIR SCORE Let’s see how things compare… |

Strictly Leaderboard 1st - Ore Oduba and Joanne Clifton – 27 =1st - Greg Rutherford and Natalie Lowe – 27 3rd - Laura Whitmore and Giovanni Pernice – 25 =3rd - Robert Rinder and Oksana Platero – 25 5th - Naga Munchetty and Pasha Kovalev – 23 =5th - Lesley Joseph and Anton Du Beke – 23 Our Way Leaderboard 1st - Robert Rinder and Oksana Platero – 28 (+2) 2nd - Greg Rutherford and Natalie Lowe – 27 (-1) 3rd - Laura Whitmore and Giovanni Pernice – 24 (-) 4th - Lesley Joseph and Anton Du Beke – 23 (+1) 5th - Ore Oduba and Joanne Clifton – 22 (-4) 6th - Naga Munchetty and Pasha Kovalev – 19 (-1) As you can see, a couple of movers and shakers on our leaderboard with Robert and Oksana rocketing to the top of the leaderboard while that bench'n'bike combo is looking ever more ill-advised for Ore and Joanne. Tomorrow (probably) we will find out exactly where the other nine couples slot in. See you then.

I'm kinda glad I didn't judge this week, because my scores would've been really uninspiring:
Laura: 6 Naga: 6 Robert: 7 Lesley: 6 Ore: 6 Greg: 6 Just call me Darcey from now on.

Surprised to see Naga so far down on our leaderboard! I'd have thought a middle aged, slightly upper class woman would be a DS darling.

Great show as usual Izzie, and I'm glad that a LOT of people are still interested in this but poor you, you have to do a lot of scores etc next week.
![]() ![]() Anyway, hopefully I'll get to judge some other time (later in the season) as well maybe?

Thanks for putting me down for judging. Wouldn't mind judging again at some point too if there's space. Not picky when though so whatever suits you

Week One (Show Two)
Earlier today we got our very first insight into our judges' opinions of the new series of Strictly, but with nine more couples left to receive marks that leaderboard could be looking even more warped by the time we've got the full set of marks out.
We had Spain, splits and socks but now it is time for our judges' marks. We ended with a Jive, we're starting with a Jive. It's Louise and Kevin... |

Melvin and Janette – Our Way
Callum – 3
East – 4 Jess – 3 Julie – 6 Total: 16 Callum: Really disappointing and quite cringeworthy at times. I felt more that I was watching a dance on Cbeebies rather than Strictly. A damning verdict from Callum there and it’s about to get more damning with… SIX MARKS FEWER With the first Ballroom of the show, it’s Daisy and Aljaž… |
