Well, Louise usually delivers really great performances on the night but she struggled immensely with the Samba this week, whereas Ore is normally lacking in finesse and technique but had a strong round overall with two good dances (especially the Quickstep). And, as the dance-off is solely based on this round alone, I really have to choose the stronger couple in this semi-final, which was Ore & Joanne.

Thank you Jamie. That does mean that Louise and Kevin's only hope lies with random.org as we go to...

SILARMY, who would you like to save tonight?

Here. Sorry for being late.

It's ok if someone already did my vote btw, I really dislike both Louisa & Ore so I couldnt choose!

Thank you both. I will give it five minutes and come to you two if the judges aren't available with their votes.

Based on this round, I would like to save Ore & Joanne.

Thanks to all the judges! One of the few rounds where you've all been available to vote.

Also thank you to Stuart and Jonathan for offering to step in.

LOUISE REDKNAPP & KEVIN CLIFTON

Despite being the couple who look most likely to win at this point, having not fallen into the bottom two once, they are the couple who would have been going home had we had our way. It seems you just really couldn't stomach another final with Kevin in it.

Does anybody know if the vote for the final will be done in two stages? (Just so I can work out how next weekend's show/s will work?)

i.e. Will one couple leave after the first two dances?

I don't know Izzie, but I think, there isn't a break in the final.

Does this help at all?

That looks to me like they'll be sticking with the joint runners up then, so I won't need to split final in two.

Thanks.

The right result! My perfect final 3 (sorry Oksana)

Not that this result will make any difference to Claudia but I'm happy for her

Claudia being the only contestant to ever get multiple Our Way Perfect 40s, AND annihilating the vote says a lot about how disconnected this forum is from the real world.

It's weird. I really thought she'd be more popular than she was (or at least more popular than Louise). Maybe the GBP only like male sports stars?

Great result this week here. I think this is what should have happened moreso in real life as Louise had the weakest set of dances in the semi-final, even though I do really like her.

#JusticeforClaudia.

I wouldn't say Claudia was unpopular, she got to the semi final and beat the other sports star and she'd probably have been in the final if Will hadn't left, she might still have finished fourth but she'd probably have done a great showdance so you don't know

All judges have marked, but I'm missing a few comments so am hoping to have the show up this afternoon.

By the way, thank you for getting your marks in for my show before the UPDATE. I am still waiting for Queenie's.

Thank you for doing this series, it is great to see the comparisons between Our Way and the main show.

A final fit for a forum…

Last night Ore Oduba and Joanne Clifton because the 2016 Strictly Come Dancing Champions, collecting two perfect scores along the way. They haven’t exactly been flavour of the month on this forum though, hitting the bottom two repeatedly, so this final could make for very interesting viewing indeed.

Our judging panel for one final time is…

Callum (doctorwhofancal)
Luke (StigOfTheKrump)
Ross (Monsieur23)
Stuart (Stuart25)

With the first judges’ choice effort of the round, Ore and Joanne…

Ore Oduba and Joanne Clifton dancing the American Smooth to ‘Singin’ in the Rain’ (from Singin’ in the Rain)

Original Score: 35

Craig – 10
Darcey – 10
Len – 10
Bruno – 10
Total: 39

*obligatory ‘was it rain or Ore’s tear?’ joke*

Original Score: 29

Callum – 8
Luke – 9
Ross – 8
Stuart – 8
Total: 33

Luke:
It's a nice coincidence that Gene Kelly's far-too-young-to-be-his-widow widow flew over in time to see you reprise your American Smooth, isn't it? Otherwise she'd have been stuck watching you make a second hash of your Charleston and wondering why she'd bothered. Anyway, yes, even though this dance wasn't perfect (you're still far too high up on your toes and your frame was occasionally dodgy), it was a great way to mark the improvement you've made since week three, and if this is anything to by then you've come on leaps and bounds. Especially for a non-dancer who had previously done Let's Dance for Sport Relief and for a lifelong Strictly fan who didn't know what a Tango was. Ahem.

*spoiler*It’s going to be one of those nights for Ore…*spoiler*

SIX MARKS FEWER

Next onto the floor were Louise and Kevin…

Louise Redknapp and Kevin Clifton dancing the Cha Cha Cha to ‘Flashdance…What a Feeling’ (from Flashdance

Original Score: 31

Craig – 9
Darcey – 9
Len – 10
Bruno – 10
Total: 38

Did that give our judges plenty of good feeling or were they left asking ‘what?’?
