Laura Whitmore and Giovanni Pernice dancing the Waltz to ‘If I Ain’t Got You’ (Alicia Keys)

Craig – 8
Darcey – 8
Len – 8
Bruno – 8
Total: 32

Some people want it all, but was that enough for our judges?
IzzieStar
02-10-2016
Lewis – 9
Nicolas – 9
Queenie – 7
Ross – 9
Total: 35

Queenie:
A vast improvement and compared to last week's unstable Cha-Cha, where you looked like you'd been on the Guinness, a much more stable routine! I spotted a bit of chemistry - the papers will love that!

Laura and Giovanni will feel like they’re on top of the world (or at least the O2 arena) after that…

THREE MARKS MORE

Moving onto our next couple, here are Melvin and Janette…
IzzieStar
02-10-2016
Melvin O’Doom and Janette Manrara dancing the Tango to ‘Moving On Up’ (M People)

Craig – 5
Darcey – 6
Len – 6
Bruno – 6
Total: 23

Personally, I think it’s time to sit down whoever choose the songs and explain what a Tango is.

Lewis – 6
Nicolas – 4
Queenie – 5
Ross – 4
Total: 19

Ross:
...better than last week. I'm annoyed, because you never go wrong, and you had a lot of content so that's to be commended, but there was just so much to be desired from both the frame and the footwork, both of which could be best described as "lumpy". Still, you definitely moved on up from the atrocity that was last week, so well done.

Looks like they could in fact be ‘moving on out’…

FOUR MARKS FEWER

Louise and Kevin are the next couple under our judges’ scrutiny…
IzzieStar
02-10-2016
Louise Redknapp and Kevin Clifton dancing the Viennese Waltz to ‘Hallelujah’ (k.d. lang)

Craig – 8
Darcey – 8
Len – 8
Bruno – 8
Total: 32

Should Kevin be eyeing up his fourth final?

Lewis:
That was just perfect I loved it.

Not quite the uniformity across the panel, but an improvement of…

Great so far! Love how Ross just starts with "....better than last week...."

Anastacia and Brendan Cole dancing the Salsa to ‘Sax’ (Fleur East)

Darcey – 6

Brendan truly getting the party Latin out of the way nice and early this series.

No worries My name can be quite confusing, and you don't even want to see my surname

Complete dance disaster.

Seems our judges would rather Anastacia and Brendan didn’t give it to them…

Sex is quite fitting for Anastacia the amateur porn star though.

I spent a good thirty seconds re-reading Luke's post and quote and couldn't spot a slip up so assumed Luke was making a joke about the quality of their dance.

Your post has clarified things.

ED. I admire your enthuasism and you really threw yourself into the Charleston capturing the quirky, fun feel of the dance. I was expecting a disaster but I'm actually rather impressed! Although how have you got to week two without dancing to Great Balls of Fire? Maybe that's next week's dance.

This is what happens when Craig isn’t being a massive tool for the sake of his reputation…

FOUR MARKS MORE

If you’re to believe The Sun, it’s a wonder our next couple made it to the floor at all. Naga and Pasha…

Naga Munchetty and Pasha Kovalev dancing the Cha Cha Cha to ‘A Fool in Love’ (Ike and Tina Turner)

Were our judges fools for loving that dance?

Lewis – 5
Nicholas – 5
Queenie – 4
Ross – 6
Total: 20

Nicholas:
Naga...you try too hard. You've got it in you to do an excellent performance, but it seems like you want to top that and do even better and that causes you to struggle. As well as that you were very wooden and your arm movements weren't great. That wasn't your dance.

It seems our judges didn’t love that dance much at all…

THREE MARKS FEWER

It’s a long show and I’m struggling to think of new ways to introduce them, so here’s Robert and Oksana…
IzzieStar

Lewis – 8
Nicholas – 7
Queenie – 6
Ross – 7
Total: 28

Queenie:
The lifts were good but on the whole it didn't match up to the wow factor of your Cha-Cha last week. Also, a gay contestant dancing to Marvin GAYE? Very original from the producers!

More restrained from the judge and partner, but another improvement all the same…

ONE MARK MORE

Bringing a flavour of American '50s stereotype, it’s Daisy and Aljaž…
NicPlays
02-10-2016
They should make a set of Emojis with Judge Rinder's face.
