So baby Ollie is on target development wise

is this a cop out and always planned or do you think that the story has been changed due to
Spoiler
and dtc's sacking?

I feel it's a cop out and would have been a good long term story

It doesn't mean he's out of the woods. Until he's walking and talking they won't know with any confidence.

Honestly Olly wants to pull himself together. When I was his age I was out earning a living, and putting food on the table.

Does anyone think it will turn out that he is deaf rather than brain damaged?

There can be no other reason for the kid not helping out on the fish stall or behind the bar.

what about not being able to walk or talk.

Would being upended in his high chair cause deafness tho?

They are just showing Linda doing what pretty much every mother does: comparing her child to other people's and fretting that he's not hit the same milestones yet. She also has the added concern in her mind of the chair incident. I don't think it's a cop out at all.

He's sometimes a bit floppy but that's usually after a nap.

I find a nap has the opposite effect on me.

Yeah my sister is the same with her son. It's kind of annoying. She always puts him down saying he's not like other kids his age. And when he does reach a milestone she doesn't even notice it.

DTC wasn't sacked. He left because he felt it was time to move on. Maybe you should read these rules

Judging by the average Carter intelligence level Ollie is probably way ahead of his targets.

Is the little boy alright in real life? He looks so sad all the time I just want to give him a cuddle. Maybe he's just acting

my theory: there is something wrong with Ollie - Mick lends some money or do some crowdfunding, and Linda is off with Ollie to some US hospital where he can be treated - kill two birds with one stone: Ollie will be OK and it will explain Linda's absence

Apropos of nothing, he is the cutest darn toddler I've ever seen. I just want to pinch those chubby little cheeks of his. He's not at Queen Pearl levels of awesome but he's definitely got the adorable thing going for him.

I think they only use him when he's tired and ready for his nap.

Clever thinking.

He really is an aborable little toddler. About the same amount of cuteness as Curtis from Hollyoaks!
