Did Janine push Barry on purpose?

As the question says.
I never watched EastEnders during this period, so I don't know the full story. However I've watched the YouTube clip before and to me it seems like she done it on purpose, but not completely if that makes sense.
I don't know what the people in general think though. I would say she done it on purpose 60/40 although I really don't get when people say he slipped?
On another note I feel like Michaels was accidental, as he was going to kill her. I know people say about the tea towel but she already had it in her hands at the time. And I don't really think she was thinking straight to run.
Anyways so what is the general thought did she push Barry accidently or on purpose.

From what i remember it was an accident. She just watched him die instead of getting help

If only he'd worn slip-on shoes

I agree with Nats though I think the 'push' was left deliberately ambiguous so that viewers were unsure as to whether she did it or not. It was really more of a struggle than a push, as Barry leaned in to try and hug/comfort Janine. Janine tried to push him away from the hug but Barry lost his footing and fell backwards.

The real callous part was Janine ambling her way down to the bottom of the hill and looking Barry in the eye as he died

She didn't mean to push him. She was repulsed by him and pushed him away, but you can see the look of shock on her face as he falls off the side of the hill.

However, she did watch him die which was pretty callous. There wasn't much she could have done anyway, but she didn't even try and call for help.

She pushed him away from her as he was grabbing at her and he toppled over the cliff. She didn't push him with the intention to push him over a cliff.

She also didn't try to get help, but in all honesty they looked like they were in the middle of nowhere and Barry died within about a minute of hitting the bottom, so he wouldn't have been saved in any event.

'Now do you believe me?' She asked him as he lay dying. This suggests that yeah she did.

Its a grey area. She didn't push him with the intent of killing him she pushed him simply to get him off her. However she didn't show any remorse or guilt for causing him to fall and watch him die quite callously.

Same with Michael's death - she acted completely in self defence when she stabbed him the first time. Michael was deranged and intent on killing her, she reached for the knife and stabbed him purely in self defence - had she not done he would have murdered her no question. However she chose to stab him a second time and again showed no remorse for her actions and framed Alice for his murder.

So in both instances Janine didn't set out to kill her husbands or even kill them on purpose, but at the same time they were more than mere accidents if that makes sense.

I don't think she pushed him with the intention of killing him but once he went over the edge it was clear that she was relieved at the thoughts of him dying and there was no way she was going to do anything to save him. So maybe not murder but definitely manslaughter in my book.

My question is how do you die from rolling down a cliffside? That's what it looked like at it wasn't really a true cliff. Like one with a sheer drop. It almost looks like a hillside if that makes sense.

He hit his head on a rock at the bottom of the hill.

But surely she must of known they were on top of the cliff?? So he would die if she pushed him?
So the general thought is that she didn't kill him on purpose, but let him die on purpose?

And I don't remember Janine stabbing Michael twice? Alice stabbed him the first time. Then Janine stabbed him when she went to get the door.
I always saw it as a kill or get killed situation.

And I agree that its definitely not cold blooded murder, I still find it strange that she's never killed in cold blood. I'm pretty sure she planned to before, but never gone through with it.
This is all very confusing but interesting
