If it was real life, four defendants like that would be trying to save themselves by blaming each other, grassing each other up, minimising their own involvement, with perhaps one or two pleading guilty to manslaghter and acting as witnesses against the others. But of course it's not real life, so I'm expecting some sort of convoluted nonsense.
