But yeah one yr ago today, Coronation street went live and the wannabe gangster drug dealer thug Callum Logan was killed by my Kylie Platt and buried down Gail's manhole (yuck! )

coronation street made a massive mistake in making Kylie bash Callum over the head with a wrench yeah ok it was self defence. But also it was the start of the end for my favourite ever soap character after she did it, she had a shelf life

I still think they should of made Denton the killer tbh!

Agreed Cool Mate!! Big mistake making Kylie into a killer and it was done before Paula even announced she was leaving!!
Classic case of short term headline grabbing at the expense of the bigger picture!!

I don't think it was a mistake having Kylie do it, what i think was a mistake was that Callum was actually dead. He should have been alive and started gas lighting Kylie.

I agree, and I do think killing Kylie was a mistake, it provided some amazing scenes with Jack Shepard but I think the UK soaps are took quick to kill off characters. They don't have to do an opened death like the US soaps but they should try to be more creative and find away to believably write characters out without killing them off.
