That is nice to know. Lets hope they are voting for Danny as well!
I didn't ask, but I doubt it as they are not so committed as I am! Still, you never know!

I went to my art group this morning and we were talking about Strictly (as you do) and it was the general consensus that they were routing for Danny and Oti! Most hated Ore's facial hair and wig and thought it was nothing to do with the dance.
Yep- ugly costume is usually Pasha's job every Hallowe'en, so maybe Ore drew the short straw on that one.
And a lot of people didn't seem to get the point of the song either, but it must have been kids wanting sweets when they go trick or treating. Just shows that that American tradition is still a pretty new one in this country.

Try and drop a few subtle hints

Seems like it was not going to be their night. Just seen the behind the scenes bit on ITT and Danny was having some issues in rehearsal with the rubber band.

I'm looking forward to seeing which dance they have next week.

Looking forward to finding out the dance and song Danny and Oti are dancing to tomorrow. Hoping for either Charleston or Jive.

Saturday might not have been perfect but think they will both bounce back this weekend.

Loved what Danny said on result's show about the foxtrot, there are worst things in the world than him messing up his dance.

I do find it strange that it takes something like Danny to make a mistake to get people to like him. I do think people have the wrong impression of him, from the very beginning I loved Danny as he was humble, very talented and trying to be the best dancer he can be.

I'd never heard of Danny before the launch show (though I've now realised he was in the ensemble both times I went to see Wicked years ago) but liked him immediately. I saw a guy who was excited and enthusiastic, talented, and ready to learn/work hard - all things I respect and look for in my favourites. I think a lot of people though saw a very attractive guy who was a good dancer with stage school experience and made a lot of assumptions about what he must be like e.g. smug, arrogant. It's been interesting and enjoyable to watch him come out every week and disprove their original ideas of him.

I liked what Neil Jones said about their dance on ITT! He really loved it. Brendan also commented that Danny's quick step was superb and he thinks they should win.

I'd never heard of Danny before either. I don't watch the soaps, so he was completely a new face to me. I wasn't really expecting to like him. I did have a few pre-conceived ideas of what he would be like. I honestly thought Ore would appeal to me as a dancer, but I was totally wowed by Danny and Oti's cha cha, I liked his first steps video, his partnership with Oti and in general his dances are the ones I watch back,( some of them loads of times!!!) I've supported many a lady before, but I can't help it......I'm a sucker for a man that can dance.

I feel it will be a Charleston or Jive as nobody else seems to have either of these this weekend. Judge Rinder has already done both, Daisy should have ballroom.......we've got Salsa, Samba and Paso................should find out tomorrow anyway.

Nice to hear those words from Neil. I think he was heavily involved with the pro choreography last year or at least before Jason. Would I be right there?? He certainly liked the concept of the foxtrot.. Brendan isn't the slightest bit afraid to say what he thinks!!!! Mind you, I don't think he'd ever be quite as rude as JJ.

Sorry Gill..............didn't make myself clear there. (Couldn't possibly forget that wonderful Paso. One of the best I've seen!! I meant that there is a Salsa, Samba and Paso being danced this weekend, so was presuming that Danny should have Charleston or Jive. Getting myself into knots!!!

I agree. I always liked Danny but he and Oti became my favourites after one of their ITT interviews.

No need to apologise. I understand what you mean now.

With so many couples still in they will probably double up on some dance styles, like the two Charlestons last week.

Would be good if our couple DID have the only dance of its type this week
Although I'm hoping they keep a wow type dance (or 2) back for nearer the semi's/final

Looking forward to hearing what's next for them

I had never heard of Danny either before SCD as I don't watch the soaps. I think people have a preconceived idea of what an actor will be like who has worked mainly in soap land, plus his stage school background which does not bother me. I picked him out straight after week one as my favourite and as he went last (I think) having watched everyone else his first training video and dance sealed the deal for me. Plus I really like the song he and Oti danced to so there was no contest.

Hollyoaks is my guilty secret so knew Danny from that. Once he was paired with Oti I knew I'd found the couple I wanted to root for.
Once I'd seen them dance I was sold.
Got quite frustrated by the arrogant/beige comments early on, as like others here, I just saw a guy who was loving learning to dance different styles, who seemed very gentle + genuine.
Loving Oti showing what she can do with a capable celeb too

What a great song choice. This has the potential to be a really great jive and their "return to form" moment after last week. I'm looking forward to seeing their training/hearing how they're getting on.

To be perfectly honest I don't remember who was Gavroche when we saw it, I only know that we did go during the Southampton run, which is when he was in it. I expect there were several boys playing the role during the 10 week run.
