Disappointed with that and a little irritated that Louise gets another fitting song.

A Danny & Oti AT was something I was hugely looking forward to, still am, but what an utterly bizarre song choice.

It is a tricky one and I do feel more nervous now for Saturday. But if the right parts of the music are accentuated then hopefully it will work.

Oti just tweeted that it's been her favourite training week so far, and considering it's only Tuesday, surely that's a good thing?

Agree with everyones comments above on the song choice for AT. Really surprised when I heard it first, and not in a good way. It's not nearly atmospheric enough for me and I'm finding it hard to imagine the mood required. The only thing is, the instrumental start has potential and as nellrose says, if the right parts are accentuated, it could be a lot better than expected.

Oti seems to have faith in this salsa guy, so I'm hoping for something different. Danny is a brilliant dancer and I feel he will be given some little solo moments so I'm trying to be optimistic.!!!!!

Thats good but still a poor song choice for an AT!! Perhaps they might slow it down a touch? It will need something but if anyone can pull it off Danny & Oit can.

Did anyone else think that Karen was a bit harsh saying that Danny's posture was annoying her? Or are they just trying to play him down? Maybe I'm just biased, lol!?

I've no doubt they'll act on Karen's advice, I'm sure they wouldn't want to annoy her! They seem to take criticism well and with humility.

I'm a bit confused....................she said she wasn't happy with his posture. His knees were correct, but his chin forward. She said that for jive, the body weight should be on the balls of the feet and the body is held forward, yet when she demonstrated it, she leaned back......??? I think I'm missing something here...................Maybe if Jennifer is passing by, she might explain it!! In fairness to Karen, she did say she loved it!!!!

Nooooo! So disappointed with the song. I wanted a moody instrumental piece or at least something that sounded like AT music!!!

Grade: A+

Greatest Strength: As soon as someone walks in the room I can tell how good they're going to be - I had my bets on Danny from the beginning and he hasn't let me down! He's amazing. He's being taught brilliantly by Oti and she's pushing and pushing him to an almost professional level. He's excelled in every single dance that he's done and I feel safe when he's on the floor.

Biggest Weakness: He has let the pressure get to him once or twice, so I'm still waiting for that moment of pure perfection.

Must Improve: He's got a lot to learn about posture, he's gapping [leaving a space between his and Oti's body] all the time, he's not always doing his heel leads - there's a lot to improve technique-wise before I give him a ten.

Verdict: He's going to be really difficult to beat.

Me too. 😉 I think Karen is lovely and very talented and she's probably being tough to push him on even more.

Good Morning ! I have replied to a similar post on the ballroom and latin questions thread. Although I am not a latin lady, when karen was demonstrating on ITT, she was demonstrating ( as best as she could in those boots!) the ladies "chicken walks" where the lady does have the appearance of leaning back.

I've just watched Loose Women. Great interview. What a lovely young man he is.

Yes, he really is, I am sure that his appearance will have won him quite a few more fans.
