You're welcome, everyone.

I think that Danny has to work harder than anyone else because the judges know that he's very good and want him to be better than the previous week. Also there's pressure on Oti to keep giving Danny challenging choreography.
They are treating Danny in some respect the same way they did Alesha when she did SCD, wanting more and more, though not saying it quite as obviously.

Have watched their AT quite a few times now, and listened to the song in full!

Happy Monday everyone, enjoy your day!

I love how supportive Danny's mum is of both him and Oti on Twitter. Just shows how much they do get along.

Happy Monday! 😊

I remember watching Matt Di Angelo dance and thinking ooh he's good... then Alesha Dixon performed and she just hit the ball out of the park every time really, just like Danny is.

Talent alone is not enough... It is the hard work that Danny and Oti are clearly putting in that is making him perform to such an amazing level. He is striving to constantly improve and act on feedback and as Brendan said they are both very dedicated.

I understand Danny's critique being different to some of the dancers but Louise has experience and has even judged on a dancing show so they should be equally as tough on her. Each celeb will have strengths whether it be being an Olympian or gymnast. They'll all have areas to work on. They're all very good.

Hope you've all had a good day. 😊

High praise from Brendan! I can see he is as puzzled as I am about Craig's and Darcy's comments. Especially Darcy's. Calling Danny's AT "frantic"? Totally idiotic, considering the precision of every movement. Hasn't Darcy ever seen Vincent and Flavia? Danny's routine is as close as SCD Argentine Tangoes have ever gotten to Vincent/Flavia's style.

It seems Danny and Oti are featured in OK! this week. Of course, the Daily Mail has chosen the "Strictly curse" to run with in their article but it looks like a nice interview/photo shoot.

I did see what Darcey meant to be fair. There were moments where Danny spun Oti round that felt frantic but i think had to be in order for them to keep time with the really fast music. I think they matched the style of dance to the song they had.

However, I am keen now to see danny and oti offer us something a bit different. I understand that the theatrical style performances suit our pair and they love them (as do i!). but i want to see a quieter softer side to Danny's dancing (because I love that style of dance) and I hope that he can show that in his waltz for example.

Danny and Oti must be shattered after having the Jive, AT and now Charleston back to back. Lots of kicks, flicks and ice buckets galore. I thought they'd have a ballroom this week instead of another high energy dance. The production team must be thinking about what would work for Blackpool and each show that follows. I'm looking forward to seeing the Waltz as I loved their V. Waltz. 😊

I think that Danny can do slow dances. The rumba was a gentle dance.

Danny only has two quieter dances left, the Waltz and American Smooth, the rest are high energy Latin dances.

Will they still miss one dance this year, it seems to have happened as far as I can remember since Harry's year as he didn't do the Paso Doble.

I recommend picking up OK this week as Danny and Oti's interview is lovely. The fun they have together is obvious as is the love they have for each other. They asked Danny who he'll keep in touch with after the show ends and Oti immediately answered, "Me!" And when they asked him why he finally agreed to do Strictly, Oti again jumped in and said it was because she was on it

When it comes to the show, they both said they're focusing on just relishing each week rather than thinking about the glitterball, though Danny did say he wants to get to the final because he wants to get the chance to dance all the dances and experience everything. He also said he'd be devastated if he went out at the weekend; it's clear just how much he's loving the whole experience.

Thank you for posting about Danny & Oti being in the OK magazine lovely interview.

How does everyone feel about #teamdoti dancing the Charleston to Puttin on the Ritz at Blackpool. I am personally really looking forward to watching it as its a brilliant song and could be a very good dance for him.

Also looking forward to seeing Danny and Oti are on ITT tomorrow

I don't remember the song but I hope that the dance goes well for them.

I didn't know that Danny and Oti were on IT tomorrow so thanks for mentioning it.

Was really hoping for a lovely ballroom dance on the Tower floor. Its not as big as everyone on SCD says, but much bigger than the studio of course whihc is all they are used to. Danny is one of the few dancers that can create movement so it would have been lovely to have seen something other than a static dance.
Lucky for Greg and Natalie having a QS,

BIB - Totally agree - there is little to no mention that Louise has the same if not more experience in dance

With the size of the Blackpool floor they will have to make that Charleston into a big production. I have no doubt they will smash it - agree it will be nice to see them dance ballroom again

Think I'm in the minority but this is the 1st of their dances I have misgivings about.
There won't be enough 'gurning' for Craig or Bruno (it's not that sort of music) while Darcy + Len will likely pick 1 random thing each to critique and mark down for.

I hope I'm wrong, but the judges are scoring team Doti against different criteria to absolutely every other couple left

Thanks for that. I have my copy so it will be ITT followed by OK! Magazine this evening.

I'm looking forward to seeing some Charleston training. I just feel sorry for them having three high energy dances in a row! Not good arranging by someone!

They usually miss one dance I think as Jay didn't do samba last year. I wonder if due to Will pulling out there will only be three finalists this year.

I think the song is great and I'm excited to see what Doti do. I think they'll pull out all the stops for us and will be as amazing as ever. I just don't want Danny to be criticised for not being gentle and calm when the character of the Charleston doesn't lend itself to that. I hope the critique is fair.
