They were lovely on ITT tonight. I thought Danny handled his personal stuff very well; I hugely respect the fact that he's keeping his private life private.

How did training look so far?

With my OK magazine I had copies of Star and New magazines included. Both magazines have interviews with Danny and Oti in, not new photo shoots or anything but nice to have a triple dose of Doti. Enjoyed the OK interview. 👍

I agree, Danny came across really well on ITT. I think he had obviously bottled up his emotions last week and they started to come to the surface after their AT, understandably so after battling and working through such a tough week... He remained private and respectful as always on ITT and is trying to make sure that he is judged on his dancing alone, which is refreshing. He is very unassuming.

They were so nice on ITT tonight and I agree it is refreshing to see a celeb on the show not wanting to expand on his personal stuff. Some would give chaper and verse hoping to gain some sympathy votes.

Also, loved their faces in the Charleston training clip. It looked like a mix of concentration and tiredness, but priceless whilst practising a 'fun' dance. Also the way Danny just looked at Oti when Zoe asked how the training was going.

Lovely interview as ever. Felt slightly more subdued but exceedingly genuine.
Amused by Otis comments about Ed running routines when Danny was still learning the choreo- then remembered he said, right from the off, his memory wasn't good.
Plus, of course, his routines have been very much more complicated.

ETA not sure how many of you wander 'downstairs' but was pleased to see several comment in the ITT thread, how Danny has grown on them 👍

I also enjoyed their ITT interview. I truly believe that they have become proper friends. I like what I saw of their Charleston so am looking forward to seeing the full dance.

Hoping for some more footage from Ian this evening. Probably another full on routine. I love the music and I'm sure Danny's going to be brilliant.

Interesting how they are still splitting Ian's WW over two days with only seven couples left, and he does not seem to critique the couples on Wednesday's ITT until Thursday!

On the main board a new Tour thread has started and says it was announced this afternoon by Steve Wright that Danny is doing the tour, along with Louise and Daisy they are the first celebs named. I so hope that means Oti will also tour as it will be strange seeing him dance with someone else if not!

I agree. I can't imagine him partnered with someone else. Hopefully Oti can make her schedule work even with Let's Dance. Surely the tour people know Danny with Oti will be a much bigger draw.

According to Wikipedia Let's Dance in Germany airs from March to June. The SCD live tour ends mid February so here's hoping Oti can do the tour.

Enjoyed the footage of Doti on ITT tonight. They looked really good and it was nice to hear Ian say that it would be a showstopper. Let's hope he's right about the scores from Craig.

More training on the Strictly website..................looks great so far and I think Danny's going to feel a little less nervous doing this one! It's a joyous sort of dance and as he says, I think he's going to love performing it. Definitely some swivel there!!!!

Jay + Ali's dancers added last year, but sadly, more often, they just detract/distract.
It can also mean that the routine isn't suitable to redo in the final for any couples lucky enough to get there.

There seems to be quite a list now of dances that can't be performed again for the couples lucky enough to reach the final due to theme weeks (costumes and staging can look out of place) and in the case of Blackpool extra dancers!

nellrose - thank you for the info about Lets Dance in Germany. Hopefully that means Oti will tour with Danny. Would hate to see him dancing with someone else.
