I am ready to be wowed by their tango, no matter what the judges think. However I also have wine at the ready to combat the stress of a possible middle of the leaderboard position. I've only voted by phone once, in Halloween week, but I will happily do it again if needs be.

Can I just say how glad I am to have this thread? Danny gets a lot of criticism on the main forum and it's lovely to have somewhere to come and just be excited about him and Oti, and also somewhere where people share my excitement and nerves every week.

I'm right with you there.......................but you know, apart from us lot, there are quite a few other fans of Danny and Oti on the forum. They just don't post here.

Every year I say I won't get too invested in someone, and every year I do!!!!! Can't help myself.......!!...............it's a bit of an obsessive disease!

I haven't watched a full series of Strictly in about six years so I definitely wasn't expecting to end up rooting for a couple as much as I do Danny and Oti.

On the voting front, I teach 9-11 year olds and a lot of my girls are big Danny and Oti fans. They all vote for him each week, as do their parents, so I'll definitely be counting on their votes if he needs them tonight!

I hope so.

It wasn't my favourite of theirs but I still really liked it.

I've voted quite a few times because I feel like this could be a shocking week.

I didn't love the song choice - hated it actually - but I thought Oti did a great job when facing such a massive challenge. It wasn't my favourite dance of theirs but it was the best of the night for me. Always trust in Oti and believe in Danny.

I love Danny, he's one of my favourites. Personally I wasn't a fan of that routine, I didn't think the song suited the dance. As always he danced it well but it didn't leave me amazed like his previous dances. I hope he gets through to the semis, I hope my post did not upset anyone.

I totally agree. The song didn't work at all for me and practically ruined the routine, which is a real shame after such a fab song choice and dance last week.

Hopefully they make it through and get great song choices for the Waltz/AS and Salsa next week.

On to tonight ..... Doti were still the main event, despite the hideous music. How Oti managed to create anything resembling a Tango to THAT is beyond me #InOtiWeTrust is well founded!

You'll be relieved to know SCD started just as we got into the car, so I followed it downstairs, and got home just as voting opened. Gave our pair all 18 of our votes (so extras for those unable to vote) 👍

We were right to say #InDannyWeTrust ..... he did what he was asked to do really well, all things considered.

I'm most disappointed that they haven't been able to do either Tango 'properly' as usually they're my favourite 2 styles. And let's face it, if they'd had even remotely appropriate music for either, they'd have produced more dances worthy of joining the already long list of dances good enough for the SCD archive!

Strangely enough, although Danny & Oti finished top of the leaderboard, felt underwhelmed with the whole show. Haven't had a chance to rewatch, (hubby watching the rugby!!!!!) but not one of my favourite weeks. I need to watch again..........................Like others, I felt disappointed with the song choice and I normally love a tango, but this left me a bit deflated. I think they did a great job considering, but.............................
