I just posted this in the stats thread on the main board. Danny and Oti have four dances in the top 10 and have another three in the top 15 (Paso, Jive and Viennese Waltz) making it a total of 7 dances in total.
I've noticed that since their Samba a lot of their other dances have gone up in views. Even their "weaker" dances like the rumba jumped from 58k to 78k.

Hard hats should be worn then if we venture downstairs!
Then again hard hats by be needed for Karen's choreography corner tonight! Call me cynical but as she tried to find some non existent faults with Danny's Samba last week but could not explain what they were I'm expecting her to rip his Tango to shreds!
Looking forward to TOT I just hope they get music befitting the dances they are performing.
Kristina was on The Wright Stuff this morning and they asked her who she wanted to win (I think it was wanted rather than thought) What I thought was a shame was that she almost had to defend her choice by saying ...don't shoot me but...and she said Danny and Oti...and that Danny was the best celeb they'd ever had and that in some dances it's hard to tell who is the pro. She thinks they are great.
All the celebs got invited to compete, they are all trying their hardest and they all have different strengths. While some amount of dance experience is obviously an advantage, the amount Danny has had is always being exaggerated. And I really believe, good core strength, being used to competing, being fit (especially at this stage of the competition, having oodles of experience of being yourself in front of the camera on live tv and therefore no crippling anxiety about performing are all massive advantages too. Especially now when we are down to 4 with ability. They are not being trained as ballroom/latin experts but being good in single dances which with a brilliant teacher they are all capable of doing now.
So while I don't think Danny actually is like a pro (obviously they've done it for years) it is possible in the dances he does on strictly he can look almost as good...as can the others for that single dance.
All the bellyaching I see did make me do something I haven't done before because I couldn't watch it live on Saturday and that was use my mobile to vote and do it without seeing the dance. I thought Danny would deserve it (and he did) and I do almost see him as an underdog in garnering votes because he has to get over the ringer bias.
I did like the dance but not as much as others Danny and Oti have done. It's funny my favourite part was in the practise on stage at the theatre before when he was in t-shirt and jeans. The jacket and flares were great but a bit distracting...I'd sooner see Danny properly when he's dancing.

Very good post, but no way should Kristina think she has to defend her choice of who she wants to win. In that case she should have to defend her choice if she had wanted Louise to win!
I think the GBP forget sometimes that all the celebs are asked/invited to take part. Danny has been asked 4 or 5 times in a row before he finally said yes, so SCD wanted him on their show. As for the fitness and anxiety I think Danny does get anxious (they are all doing something outside their normal comfort zone), especially when he and Oti are left till last and he should be super fit by now after all these weeks but was puffing a bit after the Samba and Tango from the speed of it all, by comparison Oti looked like she had only taken about two steps around the dancefloor!

It's nice to hear that Kristina wants him to win. I completely agree that all of the couples have strengths now. I think Danny is just under the spotlight because he's the best.

I love their salsa song! And Misty Blue is a beautiful romantic song so that should create a brilliant contrast between their romantic AS and their party salsa. Also the slowness of the AS should prove some of the naysayers wrong.

Beautiful soft lyrical AS and a Salsa to a classic from the king of salsa Marc Anthony, really can't ask for more!

Too late for me. Oh my I don't think there are words for how much I'm looking forward to seeing Danny and Oti slow dance the AS to Misty Blue.I love their fast numbers but I think this could be electric.
I will now try and calm my expectations down. I'm not expecting to be very successful.
