From what I have seen of Danny, I think that he would rather lose than play any games to win. I like that Danny and Oti are taking the show seriously, but not too seriously.

Whatever happens, Danny and Oti have done themselves so proud.

Yeah it was an odd interview. Clearly a tough week for them. Well it's oti's first semi final, gonna be tough for both of them. They r gonna be fine!!!

I absolutely love them for being so genuine and just enjoying the ride. But I do think Oti wants to win - and I want Danny to win for her if not for himself.

While Danny has always been high on the leaderboard, I think that if he didn't have loads of public support, he would have been in the dance off by now. It happened to Pixie.


He definitely seems probably on social media and their YouTube videos have a good amount of views.


I agree. I partly want them to win because I don't think that Oti will get another partner as good as Danny again. Danny probably wants to win as well, but maybe he hasn't really thought too much about it yet.

I assume the difficult lifts referred to are for the salsa, as they'd look out of place in a VW AS, here's hoping for a beautiful, gentle dance to show he can!

Oti may want to win, but the voting public are fickle, as long as they get to do all their dances, they've won already! Oti got to show what a fab choreographer she is, Danny will surely get work off the back of this. He's certainly gained admiration for being a 'nice guy'

Mine has grown quite nicely too. There's no reasoning with some people so I'd rather ignore them. This isn't life or death; it's Saturday night entertainment.

At the moment, I think Danny and Oti are simply focusing on producing two great dances and making it through to the final. One week at a time has always been their motto and it's served them well so far. I want to see them dancing everything and a final without them wouldn't be right. They've worked so hard, danced brilliantly, and they deserve to be there.

Danny & Oti's AS is looking good, very romantic. I wonder if/when we will see some (or some more) Salsa training?

I hope Danny is not getting too stressed or panicing to much learning two dances. We don't need epic showy lifts just clean transitions in and out of lift to keep the dance flowing and all will be fine. We all know that SF is the most stressful week so I have my fingers crossed everything will go well for them and the GBP votes to keep them in the show. I don't think I could cope if they were in the DO!

I think the producers like to keep one of the two dances under wraps until the night. Then it is a surprise for the viewers and audience. This bodes well for the salsa I think.

That is in order from memory and should be correct!

In this instance i.e. the semi-finals I believe it's because D&O practiced for the AS mon/tues then moved onto the salsa wed/thurs. They'll surely be a salsa VT on tonight's ITT plus there's the Friday panel also. There was a tiny snippet on Ian's segment but you could tell they were still learning the choreography.

Jason Donovan is on the Friday panel tonight, I wonder if he'll be team Danny as a fellow stage actor and strictly alumni with dance training/experience.

I have a feeling things are being set up for Louise to receive a perfect 40 for her Samba. I know her and Kev have been putting in the hours this week. As much as I Iike her and think she's a great dancer can we please let #TeamDoti have that record for at least one series please

Yep, that's how I see it too. If Louise can let go, enjoy the dance and nail the technique I think a score of 40 for her samba is very likely. However, Craig may have decided he's reached his quota of one ten paddle for samba per series. To get a ten from him she'll have to give it absolutely everything.
