The salsa indeed wasn't great, but we usually get a not-so-great dance in the SF because they concentrate on perfecting just one of their two dances. And I know some scoff when Danny goes on about finding it hard, but I think he really does; the fact that they were training flat-out the previous week for just one dance clearly spooked him for this week with two to learn. I believe him when he says he gets stressed by it.

I love every moment as it all just flows even the lift Darcy didn't like. But I think my favourite little bit is the section that ends with Danny doing the handstand (that's a rubbish description...it's much more graceful than a hand stand!)”
I agree- much as I am amazed by his technique in the fast stuff, it's the quieter stuff I prefer, and this dance was finally one where -for me- it became dance movement distilled into pure emotion. His VW hinted at it back in week 2, and since we never got to see him do a waltz, then throughout the series he's been on fast-setting, but it was worth waiting to see him do it here.
I'm a little sad to think that we won't see any more new choreography now from any of the pros for the usual dances; I don't count showdances because 9 times out of 10 they're a let-down and the dancers are too knackered and busy with interviews and promo stuff to do it justice. But at least there's this AS to wear out the button from re-watching
