It was fab to hear that Danny suggested the jump, just shows what a team they are.

I love Adele but I wasn't expecting that song choice. It's dramatic though and will hopefully stand out from the other show dances. 😊

Totally going with the QS as the judges choice judging by Danny's reaction. If it was the Foxtrot l think we would have felt a little more tension from him like we did last week. Besides l'm not sure Len would have wanted to see that red rope again as he didn't understand it the first time!

Oti jumping blind into Danny's arms, what!! I wouldn't do that with full sight with my husband of 29 years!

Not really loving the Adele song but it is full of drama so lots of scope for Oti's wonderful choreography so l'm good. If we have the QS as well as the Samba we will have a good mix of show stopping style dances particularly for the floating voter.

Despite no one who has come onto IT2 thinking Danny has had a 'Journey' by his own admission he clearly has. We can see (backed up by Oti's own words) that he is a little shy and particularly during the early stages of the competition needed Oti to give him a character he could practically hide behind, for the Samba she told him it was just the two of them. He had to dig deep and let himself go something he was only able to do after (his best friend)Oti's support and belief in him.

"Danny is just gorgeous! That smile is a killer, and he's not got a bone of malice or ego in that hot body of his. He's so humble. He really is Mr Perfect!"


Wow! Just had to comment. Finally someone who see's what we see! Maybe it is possible to be the best dancer and be really nice!

Watching a BBC4 show last night when they played an old 1980s Levi's 501s -the one with the Stand By Me track where the guy's trying to get into a club with a no jeans policy- and I was suddenly taken aback by how much the lead in that ad looks like Danny. Ironically, that was filmed in 1988, the year that Danny was born.

Sadly, Eddie Kidd, the model in that advert was very badly injured in a motorcycle accident that left him brain damaged.

Did anyone see the metro...I think today? I didn't but I noticed someone on twitter copied an article but I can't refind the link.

Basically Danny is answering some of the people who have called him a west end star.
He feels this is unfair on Oti as it disregards how much effort she has put in to training him. As for his role in Wicked he says,
"Well. I understudied a little character (called Boq) and actually when the dancers danced on the show my character stood at the side." He went on to say..."I never got a job as a dancer, I never had a job where there was a dance audition." ...and " I've never been one to feel like I need to fight my case...the only thing that disappoints me is that it takes the credit away from what Oti has achieved. People saying I went into the show being able to do what I've done, it's not fair on her because she's remarkable."


If only the judges and Claudia would comment on that since they know very well what people have been saying.

Unfortunately the judges have their "script" and they will not stray from it. Pushing and pushing the "fact" that people like Ore are non dancers. Well so are all of them in the world of Ballroom and Latin.

Danny is the best all round dancer of the three finalists and I am looking forward to seeing Oti's choreography.

I am also hoping they use the tango version of Adele

Sadly Danny's been tagged with the ringer label, to Ores 'no previous' and Louise's *coughs 'journey'
And he's right to defend himself and promote Oti, they've put in the hours and it shows.
Some FM's even bleated that there should be a limit to make it fairer for those with day jobs, after it was revealed that Doti had been putting in 11 hour days. Noticed a distinct lack of similar when Louise was said to have done 13 hour days the week after

Rant over, I refuse to spoil my holiday. So happy to have you all back. (Even if I've had to sneak in while hubby is having a siesta, haha)

I have just caught with Danny and Oti's interview.

It was so touching. Danny really appreciates Oti. I hope that they stay in touch after the tour.

I liked Ed and Claudia too...it will be great to see them back tomorrow.


I think my favourite part of ITT was Michael Ball saying Danny had been a member of his fan club when he was 12. But the whole segment with Danny and Oti was lovely, whatever happens I hope they both have a ball tomorrow night (and the others too...be nice if Doti's was all glittery though.)

I would love to see the Cha Cha again, but I doubt that they will do it again because they are doing the Samba. Danny said that the judges' choice is a complete contrast to the Samba.
