Hello again everyone *waves*
I loved Michael Ball talking about Danny being in his fan club and so nice to hear someone backing Danny for the win. Loved their ITT interview tonight I was nearly crying along with Danny. I just hope everyone can see what genuine affection D&O have for each other and the hard work Danny has to put in every week to perform as he does and translates that into votes tomorrow night as I think they are the most worthy winners we have ever had on Strictly. If you want to hear them on the Chris Evans show this morning (I think Chris is a fan!) there is a podcast you can download which makes it easier to hear their part(s). I heard them straight after Dawn French this morning and it was very good. The link for podcast is below. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p02n...odes/downloads Enjoy the show tomorrow night and lets hope for the outcome we all wish for. See you after or during the show depending on if I can watch or just have to listen, the nerves could be too much!! |

I would love to see the Cha Cha again, but I doubt that they will do it again because they are doing the Samba. Danny said that the judges' choice is a complete contrast to the Samba.
I'd love to see it again as it was quite wow but as it was so early I didn't really appreciate it at the time. Happy to see that, the QS or the VW (others too but these seem more likely.)Worried for them if it is the Foxtrot as they'll probably need to change it (as Len didn't even understand the concept .. which is why I'm hopeful the judges won't pick it as well as it being Halloween etc with theming) which means their workload this week will be heavier than the others who will just be refining. Going to keep positive and hope that it's one of the three I've mentioned or something equally wow. |

He did say it was a good contrast but did he mean to the Samba or showdance? In any case, perhaps he thinks Cha Cha IS a good contrast to the Samba

He might be being polite and not wanting to annoy the judges .. before the event!
No, I hope you're right. I'm just fretting about it ![]() ![]() I do hope it is the QS and not Cha Cha as they should have a classic Ballroom along with the Samba and their showdance to give contrast...and Danny looked so nice in tails dancing his QS. |

![]() Although looking at the page it looks like they did an article like that for each one (which was fairer than I think the show was last week ) Quote:

Danny and Oti were featured on Gogglebox tonight again with their salsa...with a similar reaction to their samba. I forgot how much I liked their salsa as I got blown away by the the AS.

I am liking the look of their showdance, definitely tango or AT influence there.
By the way I have copied the Metro article clip to a couple of other forums I frequent. |

Oh good, I couldn't find the original Twitter post although I did copy the picture. To be honest I thought there'd be a load of threads opened by people who had gone on about how much dancing Danny must have done in Wicked, saying 'oops sorry we got that wrong.' But blow me down with a sequinned godet there aren't any!

Lol. There is no chance of that! People have their minds made up that he is a "professional dancer". Nothing will make them see otherwise. I wonder why Louise gets away with her dancing experience.

The original clip was, apparently, in the Telegraph and there is a link in the NAT thread. Anyway, here is the link to that article which makes interesting reading. Telegraph article Here is the actual paragraph. Quote:
There were cynical murmurs when Mac joined Strictly that he might have had too much prior dancing experience; Mac had already appeared in the hit West End musical Wicked, a retelling of the Wizard of Oz, where he understudied the role of a munchkin called Boq. But the actor was quick to put the rumours to rest. "I wasn’t employed in Wicked as a dancer and I’ve never danced on stage before. I was employed as an understudy for four years and was there to sing," he explained, adding that ballroom dancing was something he'd "never done before." |

Oh my goodness - just caught up with last night's ITT and I'm in pieces
How anyone could claim that Danny is smug, arrogant or any other variation thereof is beyond me I'm in the "never heard of him before Strictly" camp and he's always come across as modest, sincere and completely genuine - and his reactions to the "j*****y" VT and his family were just adorable ![]() I hope Danny and Oti have an amazing evening - whatever the outcome - although I'll have everything crossed Looking forward to seeing their last three performances - I'm sure they'll be unforgettable

I'm not feeling very confident either but going to vote and hope for the best. They've had the complete experience though and given us all some fab dances to watch back again and again so that's brilliant. Good luck Danny and Oti!! |

There was a quote from Danny in that Metro article about how he's surprised he's still the favourite when he got less votes than Louise and Ore last week. I think he's going into the final thinking that he'll just enjoy it because he's not going to win and that seems like the right attitude to have. Go out and smash it, having the best time dancing together one last time, and don't even think about the results.
I think Louise will win (or Ore if his jive and showdance capture people a la Tom Chambers) but I'm still going to make sure to send lots of votes their way tonight. ITT last night exemplified what a special partnership they have been. No matter what happens, I have loved watching them together and I can't wait to see their last three dances tonight. |

I think that Louise will win as well. Her support seems a bit hidden though. I have seen a lot of positive things about Danny and Oti in social media but not a lot for Louise.
If Danny and Oti are going into the final thinking that they won't win, they won't be too disappointed if one of the other two do. |

I'd love to see it again as it was quite wow but as it was so early I didn't really appreciate it at the time. Happy to see that, the QS or the VW (others too but these seem more likely.)
