I'm honestly trying not to think about the winning of it really. I just really want to see three brilliant dances. Especially looking forward to the showdance. I know I would have preferred Ore's music but I'm hoping for that QS anyway.!! I think Danny can do Paso and Tango so well......I still watch his Paso back

I just think Ian Waite is probably right when he says the public will love Ore's music, etc, but I'm hoping people will vote more for Danny now considering he was in the dance off and possibly gaining some of Claudia's votes.

Danny has tweeted already .......................busy day!!!!!

I'm definitely focusing on my nerves and excitement for their three dances. I rarely enjoy showdances but I'm intrigued to see what Oti has created. And I'm nervous to see what their judges' choice is.

When it comes to winning, I'm trying to not think about it because I know I'll be disappointed. I've already been bombarded this morning with Louise on the front of two papers and both the DM and BBC Breakfast hyping up the Clifton rivalry. It feels a little like we're there to simply round out the numbers so I'm choosing to just enjoy this last day of #teamdoti. They won't win but they're my winners.

There was a quote from Danny in that Metro article about how he's surprised he's still the favourite when he got less votes than Louise and Ore last week. I think he's going into the final thinking that he'll just enjoy it because he's not going to win and that seems like the right attitude to have. Go out and smash it, having the best time dancing together one last time, and don't even think about the results.

I think Louise will win (or Ore if his jive and showdance capture people a la Tom Chambers) but I'm still going to make sure to send lots of votes their way tonight. ITT last night exemplified what a special partnership they have been. No matter what happens, I have loved watching them together and I can't wait to see their last three dances tonight.
This completely.

If it's any consolation they did a pretty balanced piece on the Today programme with Jill Halfpenny and Arlene Phillips. Basically discussing experienced verses non-experienced. They were fair and ended saying it's an entertainment show, vote for who entertains you the most.

A lot of us are thinking that Danny and Oti won't win, but does anyone else think that they will?

It's weird how we are supporters of Danny and Oti but we don't believe that they will win.

That's good to hear. Unfortunately I think a lot of voters believe the winner should be someone who hasn't danced before (or at least someone who they don't realise has danced before).

I think it's because we all love them and the reasons we think they won't win are nothing to do with them and what they've done. Danny can't change his previous dance experience and he can't compete with the "lovely mum who's finally doing something for herself" narrative. Unfortunately the other two finalists have "journeys" that can be hyped like crazy and will win them votes.

Any guesses for what their judges' choice will be? I'm leaning towards QS but I don't know if that's just me hoping for it

I suppose.

I think that it might be the Quickstep due to how positive Danny was about it.

What did Danny and Oti get for their Quickstep - 36? That's high for a judge's choice. If not the Foxtrot I wouldn't be surprised if the judges picked the Vienesse Waltz for them which wouldn't be too bad. At least Danny was half training on it last week with the American Smooth!

Louise and Kevin's is the hardest to pick - was it the Rumba where Len said she plateaued? But that would mean three emotionally fraught dances with the contemporary show dance and Argentine Tango. Maybe something more upbeat and fun... with the iconic ending they might pick her Cha Cha Cha?

It was interesting to hear Joanne say they needed to 'do a lot of work' with Ore's Judges Choice which makes me wonder what it is... maybe the Tango as it will be something different to the Gene Kelly showdance and the Jive?

I suppose it all depends on the rationale behind the judges' choice. If they don't simply choose something they'd like to see again then I'm guessing they'll go for dances around the 32-33 mark - no disasters but with room for improvement. So things like Danny's VW, Louise's foxtrot and Ore's rumba (35) or tango (27) (Ore's only middling dances were the Charleston which was Halloween or the salsa which landed him in the dance off). I'm clinging to hope that Danny isn't doing the foxtrot. It could be amazing but I think it'd cause them a lot of stress.

There's an article in Tne Sun claiming that The Sun claiming that the judges don't want Danny to win. I hope that isn't true.

Think we would be more positive if it wasn't for last week. That shook us up proper! Louise obviously had more support but we'll see. It's the final and anything can happen.

I agree, anything can happen. It's not like last year when it was obvious that Jay was going to win.

Well, I wanted a Jay win and it didn't seem obvious to me. It was every bit as terrifying plus it was a bit of a negative final show for him with the judges partiality for Kellie and a million mentions of the 'dance that shall not be named' (only it was )
Hope this is a more positive and happy final and hope Danny and Oti blow the socks off of the competition!

It's lovely to hear about so many people getting ready to vote for Danny and Oti. I'm not going to worry about my phone bill tonight; that's a problem for me to deal with in January.

Wine and chocolate have been bought (and also a box of tissues because I sense I might need them).

I think they'll be on first tonight and I won't be home until 19:30 so if any of you could post in here what the judges choice is, I'd really appreciate it. Will be voting like mad when I get home!

Good luck Danny and Oti!

hello, I think more people will vote for Danny because he was in the dance off, I certainly will be have to admit that I'd never heard of Danny before Strictly but he's a great dancer and Oti is a fantastic choreographer so they deserve to win, imo, also I've watched all their dances many times and love their samba

I didn't want Jay to win but thought it was a foregone conclusion that he would, this year the final is very close but I'm feeling very positive about a Danny/Oti win and I've picked the winner three times before with Alesha, Ramps and Louis so it could be fourth time lucky
