It's going into the West End after the tour but I can't find anything that says when it will actually open in the West End. It's all about the tour dates at the moment, none of which are near me!!!!!

I think Danny has a great future in the theatre, but I would love to see him back on our TV screens at some point putting his acting skills to good use (and not a soap!).

Jay's musical is scheduled to go into the West End but that too has no notification about a theatre.

I hope so too. I hope this really opens doors for him. Hopefully he'll be snapped up for more shows on TV and stage to showcase his talents. Carley seems lovely too. I'd also love to see Danny and Oti do a show together on stage; their partnership is one I'll miss.

I've just booked to go to the Salford show as Plymouth was too far and the train tickets were very expensive! Hopefully the West End tickets or show dates will be released in good time.


I bet Jay is fab in Big. It'll be interesting to see how big the gap between the preliminary tour and West End tour is. That might give us more of an idea of when we'll see Sleepless in the West End.

Danny & Oti should do a show like the Keep Dancing one that was touring earlier that Jay & Aliona did and other pros, or just their own show that would be fantastic.

Well done getting tickets for the Salford show, we will expect a full report I'll keep a look out for West End announcements. I'm assuming it will be one of those shorter run shows they seem to have a lot of these days in the West End. Then I would like to see Danny in something just using his acting skills.

I saw that. It was very sweet. He really loved his experience. I posted a link to it earlier but you have to copy and paste it.

Just had another look at the Youtube footage of the showdance and in the column at the side it has the others. Danny is on 88K and Ore is on 85K! I also see that the original version of the samba is a whisker away from 1million views! 99,959 to be precise!

I think that shows the public enjoyed both showdances. Of course I preferred Danny's because it was more dramatic. Ore's wasn't that different to his AS.
I hope that the Samba gets to a million.

Oooh that would be fab. Let's pray they do a Keep Dancing style show.

Hello everyone!

First time posting in here having been lurking and reading all series. Have been a big Danny and Oti supporter from the beginning and their dances have been the highlight of the show for me every week from the minute Danny busted that MJ move at the beginning of their Cha Cha. I've loved watching them and think they have been a brilliant partnership! Even now I still can't stop watching their dances on YouTube- especially their Samba (obviously!) and Showdance but I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed their Jive, Tango, Charleston and American Smooth also! (must give serious props to that jump and catch at the end of their AS! My heart was in my mouth!)

Through watching their dances each week and their ITT interviews I couldn't help but have nothing but admiration for their determination and work ethic and what a fantastic attitude to the whole thing they seemed to have. I was disappointed they didn't win but ultimately I don't think they needed to to achieve everything they wanted to out of it. They proved themselves without having to do that and, in making the final, they got to dance every dance they possibly could during the length of the competition so there wasn't a lot more they could have asked from it in terms of getting to live the full Strictly experience- even down to being in the DO as Danny said in their ITT interview last Tuesday.

Sadly I wasn't quick enough to get decent tickets for the tour but have booked Sleepless tickets for Salford so looking forward to seeing that. I'm really pleased Danny has been able to capitalise on his Strictly exposure so quickly and hope this will lead on to a very successful career which someone of his talent truly deserves and hopefully Oti will be back next year with someone else who can deliver her stunning choreography! It won't be the same seeing her dance without Danny but it seems like they have both made a friend for life in each other and I hope they keep in touch long after the tour and still find opportunities to dance together in some capacity! As has been said elsewhere, that Samba is definitely one that will go down in the Strictly history books!

Haven't been able to post for a few days.........................but I really can't add to what's already been said. I think I've got over it a bit now.....which is more than I can say for my work colleagues. they're livid!!!!!! Still!!!!! You see, I had a feeling, but they didn't.

Have watched the showdance and samba numerous times, along with pretty much all of the other dances also!!! Thank you Danny Mac and Oti Mabuse for entertaining me so brilliantly. I'm looking forward to hearing some reports from the tour, what they are dancing, etc. The tour doesn't come to Dublin any more, unfortunately, so I'll be relying on you lot for info!!!! Thanks for being such a lovely bunch.......................it's lovely to chat about people we all have a vested interest in!!!

Ah well,..............back to reality.....................Hang on..................Dancing with the Stars is coming to Ireland..............in the next couple of weeks. Could be good!!! who knows!!

At least you will be able to see Sleepless next year George! And if you want to see a great musical with one of our Strictly stars, you could do no better than going to see Jay in Big the Musical at Bord Gais Engergy Theatre. It is on until 7 January.

Hope everyone lucky enough to get to the tour has a fab time! I think we can take it as a given the Samba will be one of their dances but I'll be interested to see which ballroom they pick. At a guess I'd say it'll be the Quickstep seeing as it seemed to be a particular favourite of Danny's & they may want the chance to redeem themselves after the final.

Have just watched all their dances through in order and it was such a treat to relive some of the dances that are lesser celebrated such as their Cha cha which I thought was just fantastic for week one and I think their Charleston was superb- even though both got top marks it seems to have been slightly overshadowed by the Samba following immediately after.

I also had a look at the stats on Wikipedia- interesting to note Danny was the only contestant this series to score 40 outside the final and over the series had 4 perfect 40's to Ore's 2 and Louise's 1. I think this is why, although I'm disappointed he didn't win, I don't feel massively disheartened because the statistics over the series speak for themselves about Danny's abilities overall. I genuinely think Ore just got lucky in that he was able to deliver a marginally more polished performance on the night which translated into more physical votes.

But you want to put your absolute best on the floor for your last few dances and to not be able to do that, I guess it's going to break their hearts forever! And you had three very different show dances, which was quite nice. Again, I don't feel like Danny and Oti were in perfect sync with each other last night - I don't know what happened. Maybe it was nerves, but it seemed like she was rushing and he was slightly behind and it just didn't gel, and I would have loved to have seen them gel for the final. But it was just one of those things where it wasn't meant to be, whereas Joanne and Ore did gel. Kevin and Louise's dance didn't have the gravitas that the others had, but it was still a nice showdance

Hi Joy lovely to see a new Danny & Oti fan on here for me Danny will remain the best ever male dancer on Strictly and the stats don't lie either. Even though I was gutted he didn't win and still am a little that he and Oti delivered some brilliant dances throughout their time on the show. So glad he finally took part this year, I would guess he will do the Samba and Quickstep on the tour cant wait for the show in Birmingham.

I think the most underrated dances of Danny's are his Cha Cha and Rumba love both routines

Others week I have agreed with Brendan but I don't this week yes Danny did make a mistake in the QS but his Showdance and Samba were flawless and I thought in both dances Danny & Oti danced as one and perfectly in sync. Also his Showdance and Samba were my two favourite routines from this year.

I also think even if he didn't make any mistakes in the final he would have won.
