Thanks londongirlGre and Gill P. for the nice welcome.

I remember one of their early interviews that swayed me towards Danny: He said about Oti and how hard she makes him work something like "I adore her, but she's a BEAST", and Oti was just smiling innocently. *lol*
Another bit I loved was much later in their training session for the Samba: Danny was practicing the pelvis movements and Oti was nearly on the floor laughing her head off at every attempt at his. Danny is such a good sport for being able "to take it".
As you said, they were just the perfect team.

I actually love their Salsa very much too, it was fun and lively and entertaining to a great classic Sala-Song (the only thing I wasn't too keen about was Oti's outfit which reminded me a bit too much of an American cheerleader) but it always flies somehow under the radar of the beautiful perfect AS.

The same here, and though I have enjoyed other couple's dances like Claudia's lively Charleston, Ed's entertaining with-a-lot-of-good-will-we'll-call-it-a-salsa, Greg's romantic AS and Halloween non-Rumba, Louise's lovely out-of-hold-Waltz, the judges moth-paso and Ore's AS and much-jilted table-paso, in the end it's always Danny's and Oti's performances that I come to rewatch over and over and that don't bore me after even after having seen them for a thousand times. For me, they just have been in a league of their on.

I found your first post very interesting and not boring at all. I am looking forward to seeing Danny and Oti on the tour in February. Until then I will watch their dances on YouTube whenever I have a spare moment (on my own of course).”
Oh, lucky you! I hope we will get a review from you and from the other people that will get to see a show.
I am still trying to sortiout though, how the tour actually works:
Each couple has 2 dances of their choice, I think, and in the end the audience votes who win? Do the judges have any say or is it just the audience? Are the two dances voted separately for, or is it just a vote for the team? How big are the venues?

I have seen in a lineup that Ore is dancing with Karen and not Joanne (well at least he doesn't have to get used to another surname

), that might be a handicap, too, I guess.

I reckon doing samba & QS and not winning the TV series should guarantee a tour win for Danny and Oti. I know Ed Balls will do his 'Gangnam Salsa' but hopefully the audience will enjoy it for the parody it is but not vote for him to win. It would be a shame if the 10th anniversary of the tour had Ed Balls as its overall winner.

I am rooting for a Doti-win, too, of course.
Ed's "Gangnam Style" is great fun, but it doesn't have the same substance as the other dances, and I hope the audience agrees with that and doesn't vote him as a winner.

I liked the original version with the "faffing" better, too. Don't fix what ain't broken.
