I think that getting a good voiceover would make it a little bit better; being on Channel 4 they could have tried to get Dave Lamb, but I get the feeling that they want this to be taken a little bit more seriously. I may start making this into a drinking game: every time something awkward happens, a drink; every time this proves it's not anywhere near as good as the Aussie show, a drink...

So no one based in the UK is willing to apear on the show as a guest judge now.
![]() ![]() Eww please don't kiss my food! "It's the first time we've been in kitchen headquarters", oh so they were just cardboard cutouts standing in the corner then was it Michael's and Prue's delivery that turned you into them? |

It was the first time they'd actually cooked in the kitchen but I would have thought standing like stuffed dummies through several other sessions would have told them all they needed to know. It kind of fascinates me how little tension or excitement they manage to get into the cook offs. No one even seems to be in much of a hurry. I know a lot of the tension is manufactured in MKR Aus but it does make it fun, even when we know they work on MKR flexitime. Quote:

Who was it that predicted Razan and Reda would be back? Were you reading ahead or are you psychic? If the latter can I have this week's winning lottery numbers?

Hey remember me folks... I have just been binge watching to catch up.
OK I MAY have missed this from the starting rounds but i did notice the whole 'points will be deducted for being late" and the clock resetting for each dish. I also thought at the start they seemed to use the same music backgrounds as MKR Australia but now it is using the same ones as GBM... Confused.com! |

Figured that they must be trying to make Prue feel at home. |

I have just a few days before schlepping across to London to cover the last tournie of the year. Simon and mam are still quite annoying but the medical mates are a bizarre pair too...

Raechel (the spelling of the name alone is enough to make me wince) and her partner are just awful, disorganised and incapable, it seems, of sticking to what they're doing. |

They were brought back last week just before the group was split in two. They appeared from behind a tree.
The tree was significantly less wooden than Michael ☺☺☺ I am finding this to be less than lacklustre (is that even possible?). Don't think that Simon and his mam are anticipating bad feedback, but Michael and Prue aren't impressed with the end result they presented, even though they were impressed with the processes involved. |

I must have missed that completely (wonder if it was on a day I forgot the programme was on).

And welcome back, RFS, however briefly. Although why anyone would come back when they'd escaped .... ![]()

There's something very unlikable about Simon, although I can't quite work out why he irritates me so much. He's not the usual in-your-face arrogant try hard. He's a different type of try hard.
And welcome back, RFS, however briefly. Although why anyone would come back when they'd escaped .... ![]() ![]() And I know what you mean. Though I did find his animosity when they weren't the winners of either judges' or people's favourite rather annoying. They lost to the girls for people's favourite because the children preferred the girls' meal, simple as. They didn't win judges' favourite because theirs wasn't quite as good as the others... |

Was there a bit of sarcasm in the voice over when Mum and Sons menu of hotdogs and flapjack was described as 'technical'? 😂😂 |

Or rather he was, Mam being sidelined as usual. Did you notice that comment about how he shouldn't have chosen her for the team? Might have been a joke but I wonder if anyone else would have been willing to be on a team with him! Still, they're surely not good enough to win and it's all over soon anyway. |

Andy was quite entertaining in tonights ep I thought, he seems to have a bit of personality thats been sorely missing in most of the contestants.
Shame that he been sidelined up to now and its taken so long to show. Another example of the awful editing. |

Think the girls won with the Sundae with popping candy. They were lucky and it annoyed Simon and his mam.

Simons face when they lost the vote and then the way the judges had to pander to his pouting lip afterwards really made me laugh. He very much has a superiority complex...
"We have already beaten Razan and Reda and it is annoying they are back......" I burst out laughing when he made that comment... oh well. He is the least likeable of the contestants. Although I can't see any of the current teams beating Miranda's pal in the final. |

This is bad but at least it's sooo bad that it's entertaining and brings out the great British spirt of taking the P! (It would have been so much better with Dave Lamb doing the voice over.)
Oh course they're going to have problemswith timings and cooking when you keep on making them cook outside on frickin barbeques! It seems 'sports day' has changed since I was at school! Micheal seems to have a problem with the two Scottish girls it feels like he has taken a personal dislike to them? I loved it when Man and Son took offence to not getting the judges vote and especially the Scottish girls getting the peoples vote they just couldn't handle it and had to be soothed by Prue and Michael with some 'compliments', they then thought that they were above them and as much as I think Michael is a bad presenter he does know how to cook! |
