I think there holding out to measure how successful the Redwater series is, with perhaps a option of bringing it back for second series, I would like to see her back don't think its likely.

Redwater sounds ridiculous and once its axed after its first series I think they'll be back. Probably around summer 2017 with her son in tow.

It's more the Dominic Treadwell-Collins lead EastEnders thriller spin-off that sound a bit silly, more than the excellent cast.

Kat is the only return I'd strongly want back. Great character. (David too but the actor probably wouldn't be interested)
I'm sure SOC would like to work with Jessie Wallace again but he'll have to wait to see how things go with Redwater. The BBC need more long running drama series' so if it's popular they'll renew it.
