Ditto, never heard of him before and hope never see him again once he is eliminated.

Because it was part of the choreography ...

Then it was pretty lazy, hand and arms are important in cha cha everyone else actually tried to use their arms properly not try hide it by folding them, his hands were pretty bad through out but not picked up on. But the point still stands, lazy choreography should be picked up on if you did it to other couples like Jo and Ore from Len

Completely, utterly and totally agree.

So, Robert crossed his arms in two parts of the dance, probably about 10 seconds each and the rest of the time ... what was he doing with hands and arms? You don't like his dance, fine but try and be sensible in critique.

Flailing them about? No pointing his fingers? Boping his shoulders up and down? I believe they are pretty decent critiques and i'm pretty sure I said I liked his dance but if they critique others on hands and on bad choreography then they should do it to everyone but in saying that he got a fair and deserved score though judging by his face he didn't think so

I... think you're looking deeper into this than you ought to be.

I don't think I am his whole mood changes when he gets his scores he is enjoyable none the less though but just because he isn't a female celebrity doesn't mean these things shouldn't be pointed out on this forum

He annoys me too. I appreciate the enthusiasm, but I found the face pulling irritating rather than amusing (I think that about quite a few dancers generally, it's not just him), and I can't warm to him at all.

No, not just you! If he had toned down the facial expressions it would have been so much better. Even when I was watching I said "smile, don't keep your mouth open!"

If your acting out a story with dance concerning a Judge and someone in the dock, then if you stick an arms crossed move in you can always say the judge was showing disdain at that point towards the accused.

The judging panel's comments have to resonate with all the audience, someone sitting on a bend in a dance can easily be understood if described as lazy but when someone dancing maniacally to have their choreography described as lazy, some of the audience would not understand.

He was fabulous. He was nervous but still went out there and threw himself into it. Great moves. I think he will go far

he was good I loved the fact Oksana gave him some proper Cha-Cha-Cha he just needed to look at his foot placement in the new yorks they were not as they should be and he came across a tad stompy when doing them but when that gets sorted itl be magic in a new world of the Judge

As expected, he was flamboyant a little OTT and probably thinks he is better than he is but not a bad effort for the first show. If he tones down the facial expression and concentrates on the steps he could be a real contender. I know he has a huge following so will be here for a while. Interested to see how he develops and what the new pro dancer will be like too.

Plenty of enthusiasm.
He's pretty buff but an open shirt plus his cha cha moves did not flatter his physique.
Less goldfish faces please

I enjoyed his performance last night, but it was a bit of a parody of the dance style. If he is still doing camp parodies in week 4 then he could start to annoy me. But for now, I'm happily enjoying, even if not totally overboard with enthusiasm.

He was fabulous! Great first show dance. I hope he can keep it up. Oksana is amazing as a pro and this pairing will be great to watch!

He was very annoying.
It's supposed to be a ballroom dancing show, not used as an opportunity for grandstanding and self promotion.
Never heard of him before. So many are called "celebrities" when they aren't. Unless you watch particular TV shows, you'll likely never have heard of them.

I'd never heard of him before, but then I'm pretty selective when it comes to watching TV.
Some will watch any old crap, but that's their business, why should I mind?
