So I didn't watch all of BB15 when it was on as they was alot of awful HM - mainly driven by awful Pauline and Steven (and Helen)

But I'm on week 3 and how miserable is Ashleigh!!!! She a forum fave, but dear lord she is just so dull and bitchy.

I'm weirdly liking Helen and Ash (shoot me now!)

she wasn't forum fave in week 3, she only became really popular after she survived that eviction against jale.

The one I couldn't stand in the early days of BB15 was Toya.

I watched In and out thrkughout the series so saw Armageddon week and the following few weeks from that - but wanted to watch in all to see if Helen was as bad as remembered

Ashleigh came into her own the week of Jale's eviction... that's when BBspy went on a huge campaign to keep her in and get Jale out, as prior Ashleigh would have been a gonner.

IIRC that week was the week she started finding her balls, starting targeting Ash and started speaking up to Helen.

Her popularity was growing as that whole C5 lying to us and got her up for eviction happened, by then she was strong forum fave (Steven's eviction week).

I really liked Toya in the first week! She brought a bit of comedy right until the Jale campaign of her, Pauline, Helen, Mark, Tamara and Steven started.

Such a shame, if she'd stayed as the background comic character and carried on being friendly with Jale, she'd have gone far.

I shall see if i revise my opinions anymore - as I said I watched about 60% of BB15, but dipped in and out and I did like Ashleigh from the latter point I saw - just couldn't remember her being so miserable; especially when everyone (even Danielle, Jale and Chris) were joining in at a pool party thing and then it cuts to her, Matthew and Toya just being miserable in the kitchen as they were having fun.

So by the end of the series you might be championing for her to become a saint.

And as for Ashleigh being miserable - I was not surprised living with that lot.

Pauline and Steven were awful but unlike Helen, they were watchable in their awfulness.
They seemed to have no self-awareness about how they might be perceived. Nobody's ever gone from hero to zero as quickly as Pauline and when Chris, secretly put her up for eviction, Steven's tearful speech was even better than Jackson's "It's people's lives" this year.
All this by week 2 and we still had Steverly (open it) to come.
Shame it was all ruined by their desire to fix it for Helen to win.

I thought that Steven's monologue was the cringiest ever thing on BB... but IMO, Jackson's speech surpassed it

Yes indeed - and it was so blatantly obvious.

It was an awful series full of awful awful people. Ashleigh and even the homophobic Danielle were the only two in the house who seemed to be able to take Helen on, and the base of strength in that pairing really was Ashleigh...she never gave in or pandered to Helen's samurai tactics like weaker people did (Jale etc.) Toya might have taken down Helen had she remained in the house but unfortunately she was booted due to her campy fits of rage. Matthew wasn't the best housemate either but he was another threat to Helen, which is probably why she nearly killed him. Helen is a testament to the power of boundless anger, sometimes it works. Thankfully she got a bit of a karmic return in BB16.

I've tried to forget BB15 ever happened - I think BB bosses have too - even though they appear to condone and champion Helen-like behaviour in EVERY series now ..

It was like watching The Apprentice, but just the egotistical jumped-up tantrum bits and nothing else.

The most hideous group of people to ever grace the house. I lasted five weeks.

I played through Bioshock Infinite again recently. BB15 ruined that game for me
